I have been receiving a number of good news since last week. I have friends who have been announcing their pregnancies recently. It’s Baby Boom at this time of the year! It makes me think when should we actually try for our 3rd one. Yes, we are actually planning to have another one but as to when, we still not yet sure. We have been shelving the idea for the meantime as we have a number of upcoming events still. I am happy to rejoice with my friends for a while and just share to them some baby product reviews I have read online lately. But I have to admit that I do miss having a little tiny one. My girls are growing so fast and I just can’t stop the time. No matter what though, they will still be my babies forever!

Such heartwarming to see the ones on top on my husband’s office table. The photo book was something I made for him. I placed the names of the kids making it as their gift to their dad. It was my first time to see his room office this week as I went with him to do some bank errands. I am surprised on how big his room with his own comfort room! Then he also has a brand new Asus Tablet PC.

I wanted to put some decors to his room though. Maybe, I will do so one of this days. I am even thinking to bring him some christmas decors ;)

With just 70 days to go before Christmas, are you ready with you list? Me, I am almost complete so I am starting my Christmas shopping by November. I am thinking to buy few items from the malls and for some just order online. I am planning to send a holiday gift baskets to some of relatives based abroad. There are yummy gift baskets from berries.com and it’s so enticing, I want to order for myself. It would be a great centerpiece for our Christmas dinner. For the meantime, I need to finish my list already so I can be ready to hit the stores by November.

Yes, this blog have started since November 2007 and this is my 1000th post… I can’t believe I have written that most number of blog posts. Although I have not been regularly posting, blogging have actually brought about a number of things for me. I was able to document things and happenings on my daily life, my family, my kids and just about anything. Most importantly, I gained a lot of friends (real ones actually) through the course of my blogging career! I won’t promise I would do regular posting but I’m far away from knocking this down. There are just so many things I still love to share. Best of all, it is something worth keeping.

To have a quick break from my very busy schedule, I would like to think of happy thoughts first.

1. It’s a busy schedule so that means, more work for me. I thank God for the blessings for my business, my work.
2. Finalization stage for the new company we are putting up.
3. Little shopping this weekend. Thanks to husband’s generosity from his bonus. I am hoping to score a nice watch ;) Could I be happy with a citizen watch already? Hmm, let’s see.
4. Heavy breakfast.
5. New Artscow loots.
6. Movie date with friends.
7. Revamping our website.
8. More inquiries from clients. Bring it on!
9. Good news from relatives abroad.
10. Booked a supplier for Margaux’s party next year.

Whew! What a very busy monday! I think the day just slipped by. And I am expecting that my entire week will be something like this. I am juggling from working from my MBP and the other tablet computers so I can finish all my paper works in a day.  I can feel the pressure of peak season already as my day is always full of meetings.  I need to take extra multi-vitamins to keep me healthy as I cannot afford to get sick these days.

Oh! It’s been a while since I last did Wednesday Happy Thoughts. I regret not religiously doing it as there are just so many blessings to be thankful for.

Anyway, for this week…I have so many happy thoughts in mind…

1. Hearty breakfast this morning with “daing na bangus” and “itlog na maalat” Lol!
2. Husband has been losing weight. That’s good for his health.
3. Helpers being productive.
4. Kids sleeping in their own room.
5. Will be using my “new chloe” baby today.
6. Cable HD! Woohoo! Thanks to the newly hired Network Installer Jobs in my husband’s office, there’s no delay in the installation anymore.
7. Lunch with Friends.
8. Finalized US Itinerary for December
9. Free weekend
10. New clients

There are just so many things to be thankful for! I hope to do this again next week.

Friends were asking me if I am taking weight loss pills because I am kinda losing weight! Woohoo! Though I am considering already but I am taking a different diet at this time. It is actually not a total diet formula but I am just watching my food intake now. I try to read labels and ensure that I would only take a maximum of 1300 calories a day. I still take coffee because I cannot do without in a day, still eat few sweets and even take 1 cup of rice every meal. 1 cup of rice is equivalent to 120 calories only. It’s actually the same thing like taking 3 slices of Skyflakes biscuits ;) yeah, that’s right! So I would rather take 1 cup of rice and a deck of cards size of viand be it pork, beef or chicken. See, it’s effective…you can now see my collar bone! Woot! Harharhar :P

She’s so cute on her Ms. Thailand costume which she wore during their Asian Book of Days.  Thanks to her Aunt Cindy who took time to get her this costume in Quiapo, since I cannot leave the house that time due to my sprained ankle.

All teachers commended her costume.  I was glad she actually wore it.  I was worried at first that she won’t even fit the head dress.  It was perfectly fit on her.

Yay! I hope my daughter Margaux won’t get this fat! ;) This is from Fat Kiosk application in my iPhone. I also tried it myself and I wasn’t very happy with how I look. I was even mortified when I tried with my husband! :P lol! No, I am not going to post his picture here. I think we would need to get a portable ecg machine if he gets 50lbs heavier. harharhar.

But I wouldn’t allow it to happen of course.  In fact, we are back to eating healthy.  We are practicing calorie counting. ;)

We love family travels. I love traveling with my girls and my dear husband. It is always refreshing to go to a nice place and spend some quality time with the whole family. It is just about rest and relaxation. We recently had one. Will talk about the trip more on another post. But talking about family travels makes me think about security as well. I think it is also important to consider like accident insurances. What do you think? It’s also a consideration to keep in mind a professional to run to in case something like an accident happens. I know there are lawyers who are actually known to be efficient on such job. Example is an Austin personal injury lawyer. These are lawyers who actually takes care of a case when you have been injured through negligence of another party. The known lawyers in Austin for example are the ones from O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers – who are located at 808 West Avenue, Austin, TX. 78701 – 512-494-9949. I know it is a group to keep in mind.

I cannot wait for the photo books I have ordered from Artscow. One of my favorite books that will arrive is the Sisters Forever I ordered. It contains beautiful pictures of my two girls. I hope they would both like it. I want to impart to them that they will indeed be sisters forever. I am hoping that my first batch of order will arrive by next week. That would be a happy treat for a busy mom like me. Now, for the meantime, let me finish my research on document imaging as I need it for my business.

A super late post about Varekai. The husband and I watched it last July 21. Glad we never failed to see it. It was a good decision to buy our tickets last minute since we even got a 10% discount through SM Advantage. The husband enjoyed the show very much. In fact, he said we should also watch another Cirque de Soleil show. I hope we could get to see one in Las Vegas by December. But the show tickets are just expensive. I wonder if we could squeeze on 4 tickets with our budget considering that we are also saving up for a lot of upcoming expenses including our pocket money and the Wholesale Insurance which we need to settle before we leave the country. Crossing-fingers! ;)

If you’re thinking that your home is already due for some renovations but putting it aside due to budget restrictions, fret no more as there are means on how you can get it done without spending too much. Home improvements need not to be expensive; you just have to be a smart shopper.

Do it yourself projects are often the best way to save on home renovations. Simple household tricks could also go a long way. If the room starts to smell or look old, consider removing the wallpaper and instead apply a few coats of fresh paint. Changing the colors of the walls could easily brighten a room.

Visit a home and garden store around your area and check for do it yourself kits for basic things around the house. Most kits are easy and quick to do. Try to get as much work done and leave the rest to professionals. For tasks like plumbing and electricity, you might need to seek the help of the experts.

An advice to those who are considering hiring a contractor: go for one that is versatile and around. This could save you a lot of money and would eliminate the need to hire multiple contractors to get the job done.  It will be best to set a limit on how much you are willing to spend. Prioritize the areas that need to be done first such as places where repairs are badly needed.

Before I read about the disability insurance which my aunt is asking me to review for her claim with Social Security System, let me share first the good news that the husband finally agreed to come and join for a quick getaway next week. Our family will be going to Cebu together with 4 other friends and their families. We are excited as it is our first out-of-town trip together. We will be staying in Shangri-la Mactan. I am sure the kids will have a blast. So we are all praying for a summer weather in the middle of the month of August.

It was a little craze among Twitter friends for the past two weeks. We were all in a rush to finish some photo books to avail of the promo available from Artscow. I myself finished about 8 books. Yahoo! I’m happy that I finally finished most of the travel pictures that have been pending ever since I signed up with Artscow. If you haven’t done so, it’s better to sign up now too since they give about 100 free prints for new sign ups. I literally work on it even on wee hours just for me to finish it. I’m almost like a walking zombie every morning, which makes me fail to check on what my father is asking me to research for a supplier. He wants me to check available sources for That gives me a fluid tech. I better check online now.

I met a small accident last saturday evening that resulted to my sprained ankle. :( It was a terrible fall that I was crying on my way to the hospital. Thank God though that I didn’t suffer from any broken bone. It was just that my whole right foot was swollen so poor me, I was actually stuck in bed since Sunday morning. As of today, I can actually move it a bit. I hope I would be in full recovery by tomorrow.

God really has His ways. Maybe, it was His way of telling me to slow down. To take it easy with work as well and to enjoy the company of my girls every afternoon. In the past few days, i have been closely monitoring the kids progress in school. I am grateful for the time that I can teach them their assignments every afternoon.

I am grateful as well that I was able to read some e-books which I have been delaying in the past couple of weeks because of my busy schedules.

I am also grateful for my efficient helpers who have been assisting me since my accidents.

And of course grateful for the comfort of my husband who takes care of me and ensures that I actually do not leave bed so I can have speedy recovery.

Hope I can really walk by tomorrow.

Nowadays, I cannot fathom the idea of not using the internet within the day. I would almost get sick if I do not check my emails and my favorite blog sites. Today, internet has become a popular tool to whatever is available in the market. Any company would even have a website or the very least a Facebook page. In my day to day activities and work requirements, I rely mainly on the internet. I search about suppliers and their reviews from good search engines that can provide me with valuable information. I noticed that some companies even have a customized search products in their website which is a very good tool to increase versatility of their site and catering to customers who have direct point of inquiry.  Now, for my own company website, I am even thinking to have my own toolbar like those from Zugo LTD which are easy to install. These toolbars are not even detected by malware software companies nor it is a spyware. It does not affect any computer’s performance. In fact, I can even have an option to uninstall it should I decide not to use it anymore. Thus, I’m pretty sure that searching through this toolbar can cut my work in half as I can browse the web quicker and easier.

I have a crush on these Kate Spade iPhone4 covers…

Aren’t those cute? Now, I want to buy all of them! ;)  I wonder if they will be on sale on Labor Day. ;) I hope so. I would want to get all those 4 if ever it will be on sale. Too bad, it’s not yet included on the extra 25% off on the sale items category for this month of July.  Would I wait till the first monday of September before I get any of these?  Let’s see if I can resist it ;)

Today is a busy weekend. We are off to 4 different parties. Yes, read it right,  4! ;) We are attending 2 birthday parties on Saturday and a Baptism and a Housewarming party on Sunday. Good thing I already bought the gifts for the 2 birthday parties. I will just be bringing cake for the housewarming party and will quickly pass by the mall to get a christening gift before we head out to the venue on Sunday lunch time. I wonder where I could get something like this?

That is a very cute cuddling mat! Saw it from Red Envelope website. I hope there is something one in the store too as I failed to order online :(

On the other hand, I love the recent quality times I have with my family. My weekends are not so full of events so I can take the time on my hands. I know I should really take advantage as the peak seasons are coming over by month of September. So even if it’s a busy weekend, it’s one well-spent weekend with the family.
