Gladly the loot boxes arrived on time despite my very late order to the supplier. I actually made the order via text messages and was very very happy with the final product. It was an easy choice for the designs.  The birthday girl loves Disney Princesses, then just partnered it with Cars for the boys classmates.  We had to pick it up last Sunday while the husband watched the Pacquiao fight. The kids and I headed out to Quezon City to meet the supplier. We headed off to the supermarket afterwards as we need to buy goodies to put inside. The iPhone of the husband arrived Friday of last week. Thanks to an online good friend who brought it all the way from Boston. Dicky and I went last night to the launch of this new community being built along E.Rodriguez Ave in Libis, Quezon City (near Eastwood).  The project looks very promising.  It would have commercial buildings as well and they said famous designer brands will be placed there since the Tantoco’s got a share of the property.  So a Rustans’ store will be on its way there so as their other Store Specialists brands.  We had a tour of their model units and boy, I love the designs.  They were all modern designs even the furnishings.  In the one-bedroom unit, I particulary like the bedding that was used.  It was a sheer white, very chic look.  Since it is pre-selling, the rates are imaginable compared to other projects.  The first residential tower will be availble by December 2011.  It could be a good investment but since we are building a house next year, this might take a back seat.  But they do offer a very good pricing scheme.  The initial outlay was really reasonable.  Dicky was kidding me that the reservation fee is even cheaper than the recent bag I bought and yes it is.  I’m wishing I can afford even just a studio-type for an investment.    Working on the excel files!

Just arrived from a trip this Maundy Thursday.   Went out to have Bisita Iglesia to 7 churches in Tagaytay and Batangas and then headed off to the farm of Dicky’s officemate in Tanauan, Batangas.  Margaux and Bianca enjoyed staying in the farm, seeing the ducks, cows, rabbits, turtles and a horse.  It a good place to relax.  We had a great time with two families who joined us.    Will post pictures next time.  We were kidding the owner that their farm can pass as a  drug treatment center because it is so secluded from the city.

The husband has been looking for his golf balls since this morning cause he will be playing golf tomorrow.  But seems like he cannot find where he placed the new ones he just bought last week. I was kidding him that he is really starting to age cause he has some memory gap attacks already.   After searching again for more than an hour this evening, he finally remembers that it was stuck in the bag at the trunk of his car. 

Dicky and I are DVD fanatics.  We do marathon watching for our favorite TV series like Grey’s Anatomy, 24 and now House.  Dicky has been wanting to buy an LCD TV for our room to make watching DVDs a more wonderful experience.  What’s a good brand for LCD TV that is worth its price?   It could be our great gift to each other for our anniversary on May.
