Oh I failed to blog that another baby has been added on my list of godsons/goddaughters. Yeah, I was honored to become chosen as one of the pretty godmothers (who I think have all been using best acne treatment) of Baby Migo (son of Jacqui and Mike). We were joking that the godmothers of Migo where all strong-willed women who are all beautiful and bag-hags?! lol! It was held last February 6 in the baptistry of Santuario De San Antonio. Migo is so cute, he looks like a 5-month old baby then. Early dinner followed in reception hall of the church. I think I ate a lot during that time while chatting with Jane about their mansion (lol!), bag and shoes shopping as well as about the top 10 acne treatments for 2009.
Here are few of our pictures…

with friends is due in a few hours. I really look forward to weekly lunch like this with friends. This week, we are trying something Japanese. We are also scheduled to check out the preview of the summer collections of our favorite brand. And oh, we are also watching a movie. And if we still have time, we would probably be off to a derma salon as I really need help in getting rid of blackheads. I need to consult with my dermatologist if the research I found online on top solutions for this face problem would really work. For the meantime, I really need to prepare now to head out for our meet up.
Before I even go out of the house and help my cousin for the apartments for rent in our area, let me share with you the fun and great weekend last Feb 19-20 when two balikbayan friends (Trin and Glo) hosted parties for us. It was so nice to be part of this group and I enjoyed the party we had in Astoria Plaza and Jollibee Blue Wave. The Astoria Plaza party started very early. Well, as early as 9am, there were people in the room already. The room was booked under my name so we were able to get membership discounts. I arrived very late already as I came from the Travel Expo in MOA to canvass for our US trip tickets. Food were overflowing that day and we had great time chit-chatting and taking our (kulit) pictures! There were games and even raffle prizes at stake. We all came home with a bunch of loots!
The following day, we were with our families as Glo treated the kids to a fun party in Jollibee Blue Wave. It was really a great time to catch up with Trin and Glo, who I only met in Twitter. Apparently, Glo is our shopping buddy for all things we need to buy in the US. Thanks Glo for buying and bringing home also the iPhone of the husband!
Pictures that weekend…(snagged from Aggie’s flickr.)

Before I look into the cad drawing that my husband is showing for the business we are launching, let me share with you our pictures from the photo booth during my friend’s wedding two weeks back. Finally, they tied the knot. It was long overdue already!!! lol!
Everyone had a blast in photo booth. (Nevermind, my freaking big arms!
) In fact, it has always been a hit in most of the events. For weddings that we do, photo booths have been a regular staple for guests to enjoy while everyone is having cocktails and waiting for the couple to come in. That’s basically what we did during Jobert and Mimi’s wedding.

And here’s our picture with the couple…

It’s indeed a great 2009…
We moved to the new house, a realization of a dream!
The husband did very well with his job. Kudos to him! He ended the year with flying colors!
I had a good number and quality accounts for my business.
The kids were safe and healthy despite having flu once in a while.
We had a number of celebrations with friends.
We had two out-of-the-country trips (HK and Guam).
And most of all, our family is complete and united. There are so many things to remember for 2009 and I just can’t count them in my fingers.
Life is happiness!!!
Now, I claim that 2010 would even be better!!!
Have a fantastic new year everyone!!!

Hosted a dinner in the house with some good old friends last saturday. These were our friends from Ang Lingkod ng Panginoon, a catholic community for single professionals, where Dicky and I were members before. Cooked something italian for them that started off with a mushroom soup, then fruity italian salad. For main course we had, pan friend dory in cream pesto basil sauce. We also had grilled T-bone in gravy. We had our favorite Selected Gold Chocolate Truffles for desserts.
We had a long chat that lasted until 12mn. It was a lot of catching up actually. The dining table is really perfect for such kind of occasion where we stayed most our time. And while we were having our good times, the kids also had a blast with their new playmate, Cate, the daughter of my friend Mai. They stayed in the playroom for quite a while and then moved down to the ground floor to run around in the kitchen and the living room. They were practically very much active almost until midnight.
I am so happy we are finally hosting gatherings in the house. I am actually fine with it. I love entertaining so much! I’m sure we would be hosting some more in the next couple of months especially that christmas season is so close by.
Here are some pics from saturday…

And for the pictures to see as how much the kids had fun, check here.
our family went to Active Fun in SM Annex North Edsa. The kids actually woke up early since they are pretty excited about it. Active Fun is something not new to them as we are always been frequent visitors of their branch in Fun Ranch in Tiendesitas. So Margaux is really expecting to try the giant slide. And playing on the pool of balls is Bianca’s favorite. We joined other mommy bloggers including (Thea, Joy, Mai and Toni). We arrived almost 11am since we parked on the wrong side of the mall. Forgot to print the email of Thea for the directions so I just assumed that it was in SM Main. But it wasn’t a long walk after all since there are bridgeways within the mall.
We were accommodated and greeted by the pretty manager named Apple. My kids were very eager to enter the play premise when they saw this…

Margaux tried it with Mikee which Thea posted as well.
The kids surely had fun playing also in their pool of balls. Look here…

We saw Sandy playing with Bianca…

We also had a chance to chit-chat with each other while the kids were happily playing inside. Afterwards, we were treated for a merienda. The kids loved the hotdog sandwich and iced tea, while I on the other hand like the panini sandwich served for adults. My kids can’t get away with an ice-cream. Good thing there’s some for sale inside.
Apple, the manager was even generous to give the kids some lootbags.

Indeed, the place is another venue to consider when we are on that side of the Metro. We can just leave the kids there while we also enjoy shopping within the mall. In fact, the husband was able to have his facial treatment while waiting for us!
Our final picture before we left the place…

This picture shows how we would look like if we would take those quick weight loss diet pills!
Can you guess who are those in the picture? Thanks to Joy and Aggie for coming out with this one. It is part of the gift to our great personal shopper, Glo. We all look good, don’t you think so? Woot, woot! It was a total make-over from what type of bodies we have now! I love this!
Final Answer: (from L to R) Peachy, Jane, Glo, Jacqui and me!
As I said, I would make separate postings about the distribution of our “bags!” So before I make a research about Seattle personal injury lawyer for a cousin of mine who needs one, let me share some pictures as how we were when Aggie was handing over our purchases! Yes, let’s confess…it was all our purchases, not a “balikbayan pasalubong” from Aggie (although, she seems to look like one while giving out the boxes with our individual names), not for sale to our other friends and not gifts to the birthday celebrants!

Yes, most of us bought Coach Bags! Thanks to Glo! It was shipped through a Balikbayan Box.
We had it last sunday in the house. And I am so honored that most of them came. I know most of them are coming all the way from the south area so our location is entirely an excursion already. But I am so glad to see all of them. Miss these girls already even if like we always talk in Flicker, FB and Twitter. We just can’t get enough of stories to talk about.
Here we are the birthday celebrants…all the J’s on June! (Jane, Joy, me and Jacqui)

We had CCME to cater for us just like our Christmas Party 2008. Good food as usual as Jacqui was the one who chose the menu for us. I had to order an Alex Franco cake as a special request of most especially Aggie. I also prepared chicken fajitas which was also wiped out in an instant! lol! I forgot to bring out the ice cream as well for the kids so it was just the few who stayed behind for a while who were able to have it.
Anyway, we were all relaxed during this get-together as we had our kids stay in the playroom of Margaux and Bianca, except for Joaqui of Peachy and Manu of Kelly who rather stayed in the living room to play with their PSPs.
The mommies stayed in our dining table while the daddies stayed in the garage and played poker. I think they were able to do 2 games for that matter. So we really had the time of our lives to just laugh hard and make non-stop stories! Of course, the topics were the ones who were not present! (wink, wink!)
One of the agendas also of the meet-up is the distribution of our “bags.” Aggie was like a “balikbayan” when she was handing to us our individual boxes!!!! And it was a riot! I tell you. I’ll post the pictures separately. We were all laughing as we were announcing different alibis to our husbands about the “bags” we got. Some claimed, it was just for 50usd! Some said, it was a birthday gift from MBAP. And others claim that they would sell it to their friends! The scene was just so funny!
We also had to discuss our Christmas Party preparation. We decided to celebrate again early. Yes, as early as October. And we have decided to come in themed colors per family. Of course, we would have non-stop pictorials again this time. I can’t wait again for another meet-up.
Oh by the way, thanks to the girls for their gifts for us bday celebrants…a GC from Tips and Toes!
Here are some pictures, (others are grabbed from Joy and Kelly).

Thanks girls for that wonderful sunday!
so it makes the kids and even the husband to stay at home. We all want to just stay in bed. But there are a number of good news today. My mom is getting better although totally not well yet. She still need to be assisted whenever she has to stand up and walk. We are still praying for her full recovery. So we are all just home now. We would have a DVD marathon later probably as I want to watch all HP movies again, in preparation to watch the new release.
My brother has been recovering from his vertigo attacks as well. So that’s another good news. Then my friend from Fremont California called asking about the condition of my mom. I am grateful for friends who are concerned and are praying for our family. It is just so good to receive support from them. Well, she also mentioned that she would finally be reunited to her parents in New York. My friend was assigned by her IT company for two years to work in Fremont. But now that the contract is done, she would move back to New York. She looks forward to finally getting back home. She told me that she might not be able to call me for few weeks since she would be busy packing and doing some cross country moving. Good thing she is contracting the best moving company from CA to NY. I wish her well. Next year, we hope to see her in New York. It has been her long standing invitation. I really hope to get together with her.
I had a simple party with friends last saturday in our new house. Thanks to the girls for coming despite the heavy rain. Good thing, they didn’t get lost with my directions via sms. I specifically asked the “cook” on what to prepare and everyone enjoyed the hearthy meal. I am blessed with a good cook now and glad that she’s a right fit for our household. We cooked together the following: shrimp tempura, steamed lapu-lapu (chinese style), beef kalderata, herbed chicken and crispy pancit canton. Mind you, this was the 3rd party in the house. I’ll post next time the party last night with the wedding suppliers as I was very happy that a lot came in also despite the heavy rain.
that the hot mommas of MBAP’s would need any of those fat burner supplements? We all don’t need any! lol!
We had a blast from the summer get-away last saturday in Tagaytay Highlands and even the daddies and kids most especially enjoyed swimming in the pool! But looks like it became also the daddies getaway as they also had a grand time with their basketball game and their drinking session after the buffet lunch. In fact, they had more time chit-chatting than us since most of the mommies were busy like paparazzis taking a lot of pictures during the day. Wait for more posts about this summer getaway.
It was nice seeing you all ladies. We had so much fun! Wish we could do this monthly! Hahaha!
it would be a jam-packed day full of activities and “chikas” a.ka. tsismisan with friends from MBAP at Tagaytay Highlands!
Can’t wait…I’m excited to see the jaw-dropping gorgeous hot mommas! lol!
See you ladies soon!
last friday was so fun. We had to meet the founder you know! I miss these girls a lot! I super love the juicy stories that were thrown out in the table. We had dinner in Conti’s, and eventually left when the waitress approached us and said the other table is complaining! Ok, the place is so small so you can really hear our roaring laughs. We moved to Tea and Theraphy. A very cozy place where we had a night’s cap of chit-chats and the same time made the place our own studio!
Joy posted also about it. So as Thea and Mich.
And we had a priviledged to have our individual photoshoots!

Thanks to Thea and Joy who took pictures like pros! So now, I cant wait till saturday for our outing in Tagaytay Highlands!
oh I think its not just for coffee but dinner as well. I’m excited to see the girls tomorrow afternoon. Although, some cannot make it due to unavoidable reasons but isn’t good that we would get together because of our founder, Apols, who is just here for few days. I saw her from a wedding yesterday and I envy her so much since she’s so slim!!!! Grrr, I wonder if she is using the best fat burners? lol!
I’m also excited for the family outing next week in Tagaytay Highlands! I’m sure there would be endless chikas! And oh, I am foregoing watching David Cook concert because of this outing! lol!
was a blast last friday, March 20 in Fernbrook, Alabang. Apparently, all roads lead to the place despite the heavy traffic in SLEX. Wedding suppliers were mostly dressed, and mind you, we all love dressing up. It was good to be with company of friends in the industry. There were production numbers prepared by some suppliers like the rocking Single Ladies by Teddy Manuel a.k.a Beyonce and our association, Philippine Association of Wedding Planners (I’m one of the performers, yeah). There were also awarding of the Top 10 Wedding Suppliers and down to Top 5 and proclaiming Cecilio Abad (designer) as the voted Top Wedding Supplier by w@wies for 2008. Hall-of-Famers were also asked to received their plaques. These were the previous Wedding Suppliers for the past 5 years. And there were also best-dressed of the night from w@wies and wedding suppliers alike. No one can beat Jason Magbanua as he was very dashing on his tuxedo.
Pictures and videos (even our dance number) were all over facebook so if you have an account just look for it! lol.
Anyway, here are some pics from my camera:
1. As we arrived in the venue by the paparazzi wall (with Mimi Ferrera of Sasha Clothing)
2 and 3. Before our dance presentation (PAWP members: Bangs Zaldivar, Liza, Alviedo, Marex Gaba and Jairus of Complete Work, Inc). We danced Wishing and Hoping.
4 and 5. With friends from PAWP.
6. With Chinkie Agregado-Uy, Ernest Pascual, Liza Alviedo and Joyce Aguilar.
7. With Marex Gaba.
8. With Liza Alviedo and Joyce Aguilar.
9. Again with Liza Alviedo, Joyce Aguilar and Bangs Zaldivar.
I’m bad! I missed sending christmas cards to most of our friends and relatives abroad because we weren’t able to have a decent pictorial with the family to make it as our christmas card, like what we used to do before. And now that easter is coming, I am thinking to just send them online greeting cards to make up with all of them. I don’t think I could be able to do some writing and sending via snail mail some cards by April since we are gonna be so busy by then. Thanks to technology, we can still be in touch with our loves ones even miles away. It has already been widely accepted. And to make-up with our lost touch with them, I am browsing as early as now beautiful online cards to send so I can just pre-set the time to send it. At least it is a guarantee that they would get it on time now.
Jacqui arrived early in Glorietta Makati. I arrived almost 1pm so we just decided to shop first. We met up again at 4pm in Oody’s Greebelt 3 to have our very late lunch. Joy followed after around 430pm. We then decided to move to Coffee Bean to have our desserts. Jacqui treated us for coffee and slices of cake. In just a quick chat, we were able to talk about a lot of things already. Then Peachy came with the whole family. We saw the cute Dominique the first time. And bilib ako kay Mommy Peachy because she was carrying lang Dominique the whole time. We decided to check the LV store in Greenbelt 4. It was Joy’s first time to enter and she just exclaimed “ang bango naman dito!” We were so noisy inside the store. She then looked at the speedy 30, neverfull MM and GM. I think she likes the GM better. No, but she didn’t buy yet. It was Peachy’s sister who bought a Speedy 30 Monogram and a wallet I think. Ang yaman! Hehehe.
Then we moved to Gucci store. We learned that few selections were 15% off. I almost bought a wallet. But I also went home empty-handed. Thank goodness I was not brain-washed by Jacqui! Hehehe.
These were our pictures…
It was a fun-filled Sunday for the MBAP Christmas/Shower party held at Jane’s mansion. We were 2nd to arrive after Mich and family. Calltime was 3pm but we were complete almost 4pm already. The kids (girls) headed to Sophia’s playroom at the 2nd floor. While the boys opted to just stay in the playground under the heat of the sun. Food was catered by CCME. After eating, we had to do the exchange gifts. The kids had a blast receiving their toys.
And of course, the hilarious white elephant game for the couple’s exchange gifts. It was so much fun! You can tell from our pictures.
And we played some games for the preggies, for the mommies and also for the daddies, who all don’t need bodybuilding supplements. lol!
The dads sure had fun with their bottles of beer while making their stories about tracking devices! (wink, wink)
As for the kids, they don’t need games anymore as they were all pretty busy playing in the playground. We ended the night almost past 8pm already. We just had a great time! We are hoping to repeat it again.
I so love the above pictures which I snagged from Abie and Peachy. Seems like there’s a problem in Sophia’s BMW steering rack, that’s why Bianca, Joaqui and Margaux had to push Manu while driving, who doesn’t seem to care that he’s driving a pink car!!! The kids had a blast playing with each other. It was so nice to see them together. From the playroom to the playground, they were all hyper. They had a blast! Hope we can do this get together often and that Jane would always be willing to host us! Bwahaha, (abusive!)
I’m so glad I was able to drop by in Dampa Macapagal for the MBAP meet up last sunday. Sulit! Got a good share of seafood! Yummy to the max! It was just so bitin with chika because all were busy eating, (hehehe) and tending to their kids! But we squeezed in a bit about LV bags and so, plus scheduled the next meet up in October before the preggy mommies Jane, Peachy and Mich would give birth. It would be the baby shower and christmas party of the group already. Jane is so generous (hahaha), she volunteered her house for an overnight swmming party in their house! She would even shoulder the food of the group! Bwahaha! Peace Jane!
But we don’t want her to trouble herself with it anymore since she’s due to give birth soon so we would just do potluck or better contribute again and transfer paypal money to Abie so the reliable Jacqui can do the market and “paluto” in Dampa and take-out seafood again for the meet-up. I’m excited for this next meet up!
Picture that i snagged from Joy.
