It was a fun-filled Sunday for the MBAP Christmas/Shower party held at Jane’s mansion. We were 2nd to arrive after Mich and family. Calltime was 3pm but we were complete almost 4pm already. The kids (girls) headed to Sophia’s playroom at the 2nd floor. While the boys opted to just stay in the playground under the heat of the sun. Food was catered by CCME. After eating, we had to do the exchange gifts. The kids had a blast receiving their toys.
And of course, the hilarious white elephant game for the couple’s exchange gifts. It was so much fun! You can tell from our pictures.
And we played some games for the preggies, for the mommies and also for the daddies, who all don’t need bodybuilding supplements. lol!
The dads sure had fun with their bottles of beer while making their stories about tracking devices! (wink, wink)
As for the kids, they don’t need games anymore as they were all pretty busy playing in the playground. We ended the night almost past 8pm already. We just had a great time! We are hoping to repeat it again.
I so love the above pictures which I snagged from Abie and Peachy. Seems like there’s a problem in Sophia’s BMW steering rack, that’s why Bianca, Joaqui and Margaux had to push Manu while driving, who doesn’t seem to care that he’s driving a pink car!!! The kids had a blast playing with each other. It was so nice to see them together. From the playroom to the playground, they were all hyper. They had a blast! Hope we can do this get together often and that Jane would always be willing to host us! Bwahaha, (abusive!)
I’m so glad I was able to drop by in Dampa Macapagal for the MBAP meet up last sunday. Sulit! Got a good share of seafood! Yummy to the max! It was just so bitin with chika because all were busy eating, (hehehe) and tending to their kids! But we squeezed in a bit about LV bags and so, plus scheduled the next meet up in October before the preggy mommies Jane, Peachy and Mich would give birth. It would be the baby shower and christmas party of the group already. Jane is so generous (hahaha), she volunteered her house for an overnight swmming party in their house! She would even shoulder the food of the group! Bwahaha! Peace Jane!
But we don’t want her to trouble herself with it anymore since she’s due to give birth soon so we would just do potluck or better contribute again and transfer paypal money to Abie so the reliable Jacqui can do the market and “paluto” in Dampa and take-out seafood again for the meet-up. I’m excited for this next meet up!
Picture that i snagged from Joy.
Was so busy last Tuesday, August 19 for a photoshoot of our association, PAWP (Philippine Association of Wedding Planners). Madge Lejano did my make-up. I love it! The shoot happened in the posh presidential suite of Peninsula Manila. We had 3 change of outfits!
Gee, with all 16 wedding planners in one room, it was chaotic! We were all directing the day! We and our big mouths!
Pat Dy made us pose like real models.
Few of the shots from that fun, fun, fun shoot!
One of the pictures here will be released in bridal magazines with tag line…
“Pick among the best…and enjoy a wedding of bliss!”
I’m excited for my friend Louise who recently moved to another city. In fact we are visiting their new townhouse in two weeks time as she’s calling for a housewarming party. I know this friend of mine has a lot of stuff in their current place and I wonder how’s she’s going to overhaul everything in just one transport. Last week, she even had some garage of the items they just want to get rid off. I learned from her that she got a moving truck company to help her and her husband of all their stuff. She has good words about Penske moving truck which she learned from a reliable source like Moving Orbit. She advised me to check out tips from the net on possible quotes from different moving companies. But she actually didn’t have a hard time choosing among all others because everything she needs to know are already in the site of Moving Orbit. She did all reservations online and the truck was ready in time of their move. That’s why they were able to unload all their stuff after the transport. And now, she’s just busy emptying the boxes. Can’t wait to see their new place!
It was in Starbucks Bonifacio High Street last saturday, July 5. Joy and I met a bit earlier as we scheduled it as our tutorial session for my company website. But before we got down to business, we did a lot of talking first on the side. In fact, when Peachy arrived we were still doing some turorial since Joy forgot the password in my adminpanel. Until Mich eventually arrived, I finally shut down Amanda. After which, Abie also arrived. And then we began the ball rolling.
The topics were:
1. Two of the mommy bloggers who were there, Peachy and Mich are expecting so the first topic of our discussions: pregnancy blues, ready or not for the second baby, due dates, etc.
2. We also discussed breastfeeding, so Joy made her share.
3. The expecting mommies were also concern about buying baby stuff like new prams or
pushchairs. Whether to use existing ones of their first borns or buy a new one.
4. Concerns about bed arrangement when the new baby arrives.
5. How does it feel to have two kids, etc. Oh, and I’m the only one who’s there, who has two kids already so it’s time for me to do my share.
6. How to explain to the first born when the new baby is already at home.
7. Joy, Abie and me also expressed our concerns of not being ready yet to get pregnant again! So naughty topics emerged from here. (hehehe)
8. Then we moved on to potty-training and even discussed sharing household and childcare chores with husband.
9. Of course, we didn’t miss out discussing our business…where, what, when, how, how much were all questions thrown in the table.
10. And if you were absent in this coffee date…most likely we also talked about you! (bwahaha)
Aggie - her secret!
Apols - her unrelenting comments in n@w!
Apple - her new site which is not up yet!
Jacqui - her twitter challenges!
Jane - her “lupain”!
Kelly - her disappearing act for this coffee date!
Thea - the multiply site of “…” she sent to peachy!
So next time, do not be absent! lol!
You Are In a Fantastic Mood |
![]() You’re confident, focused, and on top of your game. People are attracted to your energy right now. This is the time to go for it - you’re likely to get what you want! |
Yes, I am in fantastic mood! It’s a weekend and feel excited since I can be with family today and tomorrow. No work! Yahoo. I’ll be back in working mode by Monday. We would go malling this afternoon. Buy new crocs for Margaux that she can use for school. Will also be meeting up with MBAP Friends. I’m sure lots of coffee to drink and stories to tell. Would be missing some who cannot come but I’m pretty excited that I’ll get more tips from the gurus! (wink, wink!)
I met up with my gay good friend yesterday in the mall who came recently from UK. I can’t want to see the loots he got there since he said that he got himself some fabulous shoes. I was reprimanding him why he didn’t get a designer luxury bag instead but this friend of mine is no way to be a bag-person. He hates bringing bags actually that’s why he got himself 5 pairs of great looking shoes. Yesterday, he was wearing an alligator dress shoes. He said that it is so classy to get one and even convincing me to get Dicky as well. I’m not sure if my husband would like it because he really doesn’t wear too formal dress shoes. But my friend got it from Upscale Menswear which is the best men’s clothing and shoes store. I was suprised that he just ordered it online while he was vacationing in UK and it arrived right in his doorstep in the hotel room he was staying. The web’s store is carrying Belvedere and Romano alligator skin shoes. These are two of Italy ’s finest exotic skin shoe manufacturers. The shoes are completely handcrafted, and their interior is a soft leather that allows for maximum comfort. That’s why my gay friend has been raving about this.

He’s a gay you know that’s why it is in cognac color!
A number of friends have actually told me that I have really slimmed down. This is really a good news for me and always sound like a music to my ears. Hehehe. But I was even amazed when I saw a friend for lunch today as to how much she have lost in terms of weight already. She looks so fresh despite having like 3 kids and she seems very active and hyper even with age. She told me about the idea of taking a colon cleanser. This is something new to me as I am only familiar with those slimming pills available in the market. Apparently, this cleanser has a dual action formula that can ultimate cleanse our colon and is currently available in the market today. The idea on it as mentioned by my friend is to eliminate the toxins which have built up in our digestive system. The detoxifiction process of a colon cleanser is so important to maintaining a healthy balance in our body. As she said, many doctors are considering it to a key to personal wellness. Hmm, this is something to consider in order to maintain my weight or I might even continue losing some more based on my desired weight.

Thanks to AA for the cake above. I was like a kid at heart this afternoon. Celebrated my birthday this afternoon with my co-parents from Margaux’s previous school. We have built a friendship already and it saddens us that this school year, our kids are not gonna be classmates anymore. Some are staying, most of us moved to big schools. Nevertheless, I hope we would continue with our friendships.
