In keeping with traditions, we went last saturday in the site to throw some coins on each post foundation. It is a symbolism of goodluck as they say. I really hope luck would always be on our side. Or let’s just say, blessings from above would be better. Isn’t it obvious that we are overly excited? Sorry, can’t help it!
will rise the dreamhouse…
We went to check it out last saturday afternoon. A week has passed for the workers to just clear the lot and to start putting the posts. It is just the start, but we are just so proud of the progress.
We had the final meeting yesterday with the contractor and the interior designer. What’s good about them is that they are a husband and wife team so right after the structural design has been made by the architect, the interior designer work her way to show us designs on how it would look like with home furnishing around. We are getting excited everyday. The interior designer showed us yesterday the perspective of the living room and the kitchen! Both are awesome. I’m also excited to see the perspective of the master’s bedroom with my requirement for a walk-in closet. We were also discussing about my office furniture to be placed on the room on the ground floor. This is our one major project for the family, so it means we must doubly work hard and save more!
Today marks the start of the construction of the dream house! Everything set and ready! We just can’t wait. Thank God for all the blessings!

it would be within our hands…
Our very own. The dreamhouse construction will finally be pushing through within the year. The husband and I decided that we should not delay it no more. Thanks to the Man Up There for paving the way. We are grateful for the blessings. Everything happens for a reason and because of Dicky’s career move, an unexpected grace from Him, we are just now ready to start off our new family project.
Things falling into place. And after careful consideration, we felt that this is a better plan and perfect timing. I have been convinced that we are not travelling (for the meantime) to the US for the holidays. There would always be a next time, next year? Anyway, it won’t go away and we still have 9 years to use our tourist visas. Will make sure we can then stay longer than 2 weeks by the next travel.
We just can’t wait for the house warmings!!! :-P
Dicky has been bugging me to completely fill out already the necessary forms for something we are working on. Apparently, that’s the only thing I did this morning because I need to finish signing all documents before I leave for Hong Kong next week. I also had to phone his aunt, who is an interior designer for some specifics of the furnishings. Indeed, we are getting so excited about this new venture. Just can’t wait. And while I was talking to his aunt, I got more excited about her plans for Indoor Water Fountains. She asked me to check a site and see which one among the selections would I prefer to get for the foyer leading to the living room. I thought she’s just going to put a big mirror for that wall but her new idea for Wall Fountains would be something interesting and unique. I’m giddy happy for the turn out of the plans from the revisions we had. It’s becoming more of what we really love to have and to live with. She is also suggesting for us to get Water Fountains for the quiant garden we would have which will be right across the sliding door fronting the dining room. We are eyeing this wall fountain pictured below. Can you get a picture of what I am talking about? Yes, its all about the dream house. We are close to it!
Last weekend, we went out to check some flat screen TV for our room. We saw a number of nice ones from Abenson and Ambassador Home Appliance in Shangrila Mall. We also saw some nice stereo cabinet which would be perfect for our living room as well. But we end up not buying anything. We realized, we should not pressure ourselves to buy one already at this point in time. We just have to wait longer. It would be a waste to buy now if after a couple of months, there are new models coming out. Besides, it would be perfect to get these appliance when the new house has been built already. Crossing our fingers, I hope it would be soon.
With Dicky’s new movement for job, we are now thinking to sell Black Beauty. She is my chevy black optra. Dicky will be given a service SUV from his new company so we won’t be needing 3 cars! He would actually hand me his CRV instead. But we are also considering selling both the chevy and the CRV to buy a brand new car! I can’t get over getting a Toyota Fortuner! I wonder though how much is the insurance for this kind of brand new vehicle. I wish there is something like American Car Quotes in the country, which you can actually give you variety of options for insurance policies that would suit your need in just one sitting. Won’t you wish owning properties like the one above? Lovely! I can just lie around and be a queen in that house. It’s fully furnished with a covered pool. There is nothing wrong in dreaming anyway. Not to mention that this property is very near Orlando Disneyland. My kids would definitely love staying here. Maybe we can stay here every summer, lol! These are just my greatest dreams.
One way or another, I think I have set my mind on some vessel sinks to buy for the house we are building next year. We want all our furnishings in sleek and modern designs so I am starting to review and look at pictures from the web on what could be our best options. I would be very very particular on what to put especially in our master’s bedroom. And I can’t wait for my walk-in closet! Gosh, I really really hope the dreamhouse will finally come alive already next year! We just have to be patient!
