With just 70 days to go before Christmas, are you ready with you list? Me, I am almost complete so I am starting my Christmas shopping by November. I am thinking to buy few items from the malls and for some just order online. I am planning to send a holiday gift baskets to some of relatives based abroad. There are yummy gift baskets from berries.com and it’s so enticing, I want to order for myself. It would be a great centerpiece for our Christmas dinner. For the meantime, I need to finish my list already so I can be ready to hit the stores by November.

Can you believe it? I still do not have an official christmas gift to the husband except the rubber shoes he asked me to buy, which he can use for his basketball games. At first, I was thinking to get him a cycling exercise machine but he actually said not to get one instead as he wants a real mountain bike instead. When I was about to buy already, he again changed his mind and wants a flat tv mounts instead. But when we are almost ready to buy in the mall, he again said not to push through with it anymore. He wants a new eye glasses instead. We still haven’t gone to any optical shop.  Maybe this weekend.  And yeah, this christmas gift is so late already.

for this year is a repeat performance of last year. All our christmas decor were practically new last year so it is but fitting to still use the same anyway. We also put a christmas garland in our stair rods and even place some lights on it. The other trimmings are the same actually even those small christmas decor on our banquet table.

for christmas is a brand new psp! Yes, at his age, he still plays video games, especially NBA live. Oh well, there is still a child in him. I wonder where I could get a good deal for a such? Any leads please? I am hoping I can just order online so that I can even get the bundles and consoles. Wish it could also be delivered in time for christmas eve.

Yes, It’s just about 103 sleeps before christmas day! Yipee! The kids are pretty excited again for the coming christmas. My eldest is particularly listing down already her wish lists. She really knows what to choose already for herself. What a kid! Now, this reminds me to actually think already of top gifts for sweetest day like Christmas. Thinking on what to give to my close family and friends and also to my dear husband.  As for my list, it has been prepared already since January! lol!

in the house happened last December 8. It was a party with wedding supplier friends. Thank goodness it was a good weather then so we were able to enjoy the cool breeze in the lawn. Our christmas lights were all set outside and the husband made sure to use safety products for all our lanterns, lights and decorations. It was indeed a fun night that continued until wee hours of the morning. I think the party finished almost 3am with just non-stop talking! Thanks to Tita Jet of Josiah’s for providing our food. The guests went home with take-out bags as well!

happening in the house tomorrow and on Saturday, I have asked the househelps to do general cleaning of the house. I even asked them to scrub all metal tiles in the dirty kitchen as well as clean all glass windows. I have asked them to polish the wood on all furnitures and vaccuum the fabrics as well. They would also scrub the garage tomorrow as that would be our back-up venue in case it rains in the evening. But I really hope it would be a good weather. Glad, the household helps are not complaining. They shouldn’t right?

of the six parties we would have in the house for this month of December. It would be a party for some wedding suppliers friends. I was asking the husband to actually come home early so he would get to meet as well my friends from the industry. Apparently, tomorrow would be a busy day for him as they are rushing to prepare for a new product to be launched early next year. He wants that their new product of remote backup service would be up and running as early as 1st week of January so they could start promoting it to their clients. But he promised to still come home early. On the other hand, I am really hoping that weather would be good so we could just enjoy the cool breeze by the garden.

Christmas Party Invitation

There are three sets of parties already scheduled in the house this December. The Christmas Invitations are all out. That is why I made sure to finish buying stuff I need for the party entertaining. My friends are gushing about the Christmas party invitations they got from us. Luckily, I was able to get some free Christmas invitations from http://www.holiday-invitations.com/.

My friends were asking me as to where I got those Christmas invitation wording I used because they so ecstatic when they received it. Everything is from Holiday-Invitations actually. I usually get all my holiday cards from them as I don’t even have problems in ordering online since they can print and ship my order the same day that I have approved the proof. Also, since I have been a regular customer, getting some free invitation cards with free shipping is a very sweet advantage. Now, I look forward to these gathering of friends in the house.

is already up inside the house. We bought it early November and we just can’t wait not to put it up right away. We fixed it last weekend. The kids helped as we placed the decors in the tree.  It would definitely become a yearly family tradition for us.  We want the kids to participate as we put up all our christmas decorations. The husband and I agreed on the traditional colors of red and gold so it could last very long. Well, we also intend to use it again in the next few years. . Not to mention that the colors are appropriate for our furnitures.

It’s our first christmas in the new house so you bet, we are pretty excited . I have changed also other stuff in the house to make it more christmas feel. We also bought new stuff like the lanterns and the singing Santa Family. I have yet to post the pictures of those next time.

I was fixing some old files when I actually got hold of heartwarming Thank You Cards from different people.  Some came from my clients. Mostly, these are well-written notes from my previous brides. It is so good to read them all again on an early sunday morning! It’s really great to be part of the best days of their lives!  I also got to check again those business thank you cards from friends in the industry, and some party thank cards for attending birthdays and anniversaries.  And oh, I also saw the extra baby thank you cards from Bianca’s party 2 years back which I ordered from CardsShoppe.  

I remember ordering from their website, http://www.cardsshoppe.com/. Since I was on the rush that time, I was able to get the proof of the card within one hour after my inquiry. I made few changes and they didn’t charge me for that. What’s more, I was able to ask them to print and ship my orders the same day that I place the order from them. It was really a great buying experience with them.
