It was all fun during the party. There were games for the kids like the favorite, Bring Me, Pass the Ball as well as the egg hunt game. The adults were also asked to participate. Dicky and I headed our respective teams…
Here are the fun pictures from the games of the kids…
And its the adults turn for the SOS game (this was riot!)
And so as the arrange yourself game…
Of course, the pinata was a hit to the kids and even the adults!
Here are more pictures of the birthday girl. She was very happy during the entire party. Good thing she was able to sleep before we left the house. By the way, I bought her clothes from Periwinkle in Shang Mall. I just love the color.
She adores Dora the Explorer a lot!
She almost wants to bring home Dora! (lol!)

The pictures from Howell are already here. I love the photos! As in super love! Thanks Howell! From the pictures, we can see how happy the guests during the party. We are so happy also that most of our friends and family were able to make it to the party. I only exceeded 6pax based on my reservation for 100pax. I was kinda anxious during the party if the lootbags I prepared for the kids would be enough as I only had 50pcs made so I was asking the maids to count all the kids to ensure that everyone would be able to get something. In previous parties, (if you have read before), we had 90+ kids during Margaux’s and Bianca’s 1st Birthday Parties. Well, we have limit our guestlist this time. But good thing, I still made the right estimate.
We started the party late since most of the guests were stranded due to heavy rains. We were in Shakey’s before 3pm so good thing we weren’t caught in the flash flood along Katipunan Avenue. Despite that fact that we started late, all the kids had a blast.
I was very happy with my suppliers as well.
1. Shakey’s Katipunan (love the food– bunch of lunch and we ordered 1 big giant pizza, which was a hit to the guests)
2. Adworks - for the invitations. I have always been a “suki.”
3. Melisse - for the tarpaulin and printing. Thanks girl!
4. Yanple - for the balloon decors, Dora Mascot and glitter tattoo artist. I’m happy with the balloons. Thanks Apple for accommodating all my requests and my last-minute bilins.
5. Quintbelles - for the 2-layer cake. Thanks again Elaine. It was a beautiful cake.
6. Sheila from 168 Mall - 2nd time to order from her. I’m good with what she delivered.
7. URC company store - thanks to the husband’s discount, all items inside the lootbags came from URC (universal robina corporation)
8. Divisoria Mall - of course, for the prizes and other goodies for the party.
9. Frostings - the super yummy cupcakes, which apprently, I forgot to distribute during the party. It was all at the bottom of the table and I just realized when we were packing all the stuff already. We were able to give to some guests who were still there anyway.
10. Howell - for photo coverage. I am very happy with the output. I love all the shots. As in I can make stories out of the photos.
11. Juana in 168 mall - for my fabulous outfit! lol! This is my fab find at a super great price! Please tell me I don’t need those fat burners when you see me in the pictures.
Here are some pictures from Howell. I’m still downloading some and I still want to make more stories about the party…
will be a busy one.
Saturday, we will attend Sam’s (of Jacqui) party.
And of course on Sunday will be our Bianca’s 2nd Birthday Celebration in Shakey’s Katipunan.

This backdrop done by Melisse.
I have prepared everything for the party and I am really hoping I am not missing anything. Even the clothes/dress of the kids are already prepared so as my outfit for the party! The only thing that I missed is having a crash diet so I would look good on that dress! I never got the chance to hop on the air climber or even on the elliptical so please do not laugh when you see the party pictures next week. And don’t dare to ask if I’m pregnant ok? I’m NOT! Period. (bwahaha!)
She enjoyed playing with the kids of the Cribs Foundation. Stories and pictures here.
After her simple party, we went to Fun Ranch in Tiendesitas. The ultimate favorite of my two kids. Good thing we are just very near the place so it has always been easy to go. And since it was a weekday, very few kids were there, reason why they had so much fun. Look at the pictures how they had a blast…
My heart is always smiling to see them always play together…
We actually checked in Manila Peninsula again last friday and checked out last sunday. It was a great weekend just to lounge around and enjoy the hotel room.
When we arrived in our room, Dicky was greeted with balloons, a bottle of wine and a caramel cake from Estrel’s, which all came from Dicky’s officemates. Thanks to Jacqui for arranging. How sweet diba? (buti pa sila, may suprise sa kanya, ako, never really thought of any!, hmm, I’m bad!)
We rested in a while then decided to go swimming in the hotel’s pool afterwards. Too bad, I forgot our camera in the room and I’m too lazy to go back for it.
We just had a simple dinner in Fridays, as I have been craving for ceasar salad for the past weeks. Of course, we had to say to the waiters that it’s Dicky’s bday so we can get a free cake!
We ended the night with soothing massage as we requested our favorite masseuse to come to the hotel. O diba, wise and cheap option rather than having a massage from the hotel itself.
The next two days were just spent inside the room. We had a hearty and heavy breakfast for two consecutive mornings and I felt bloated. I think I have gained back around 5 lbs! Gee!
I must say, we just enjoy being together in celebrating special occasions in our lives…
Do you already have a father’s day gift to your husbands or dads? I just got something for Dicky which I easily grabbed from the store in between my meetings today. But I must say that I really haven’t thought well on what to give. I can’t think of any that he could probably appreciate. A friend of my mine told me that she got her husband some helicopter flights! This is amazing! I can’t believe there is something like that already. This are tours from XperienceDays.com which is an exciting concerpt in gift giving. I should have known this before so I could have atleast saved some more in time for Father’s Day. Imagine having a tour of a great city or an exotic island via a helicopter? This is a fun, exciting and interesting activity. Next occasion, I would think of it as an option.
Imagine receiving some personalized gifts like this..

Thanks to AA for the cake above. I was like a kid at heart this afternoon. Celebrated my birthday this afternoon with my co-parents from Margaux’s previous school. We have built a friendship already and it saddens us that this school year, our kids are not gonna be classmates anymore. Some are staying, most of us moved to big schools. Nevertheless, I hope we would continue with our friendships.
celebration can be read in my other blog. Thanks to all those who greeted and wished for me online, left a message in my blogs and those who called and texted me. It all means a lot!
Have to run now as we have a celebrity wedding to coordinate! 1000 guests! Goodluck to us!
