Today is a busy weekend. We are off to 4 different parties. Yes, read it right, 4!
We are attending 2 birthday parties on Saturday and a Baptism and a Housewarming party on Sunday. Good thing I already bought the gifts for the 2 birthday parties. I will just be bringing cake for the housewarming party and will quickly pass by the mall to get a christening gift before we head out to the venue on Sunday lunch time. I wonder where I could get something like this?

That is a very cute cuddling mat! Saw it from Red Envelope website. I hope there is something one in the store too as I failed to order online
On the other hand, I love the recent quality times I have with my family. My weekends are not so full of events so I can take the time on my hands. I know I should really take advantage as the peak seasons are coming over by month of September. So even if it’s a busy weekend, it’s one well-spent weekend with the family.
Before I even worry and get confused about a number of prenatal vitamins available in the market today, I am already confused on which version of Chinese Calendar to follow in order for us to concieve a baby boy!
A number of my friends actually followed the Chinese Calendar and were very accurate with the results but there has been some differences in the interpretations of these calendars. For some, lunar age should be considered, for the rest, regular human age would do. There’s even a different interpretation on the months itself since it would also have to follow the chinese charts. In reality, I am overly perflexed. It’s totally confusing! Take for example these two charts I found…

Based on my age, they differ in months on when to conceive a baby boy. Whoa! Well, I agree with what one of my friends said who would thought that conceiving for a baby boy or girl even includes a mathematical equation?!
Oh boy! lol!
There were atleast some good news through the Birth Announcements I received this week. One of my friends who had her baby shower last week gave birth over the weekend. Gladly, she, the baby and their whole family are safe and spared from the wrath of the Typhoon, Ondoy. They are based in the South where not much concern about flooding were reported. It was really good to receive some baby announcements in the middle of a calamity. It provides new hope and new beginning.
Now, my friend is already asking about birth announcement cards. She’s pretty excited since its their first-born. So she asked me for my recommendations as she knows how much I prepare for my kids’ events. I told her to check some free invitation cards from http://www.birth-cards.com/. She could even get some free shipping if she orders in big quantity. Since she is a bit rushing, she could have the cards printed and ship to her the same day that she approves the proof. I’m pretty sure she could get what she’s looking for from the site of the Birth-Cards.
