It was actually my birthday cake which I failed to show earlier on this blog. I was ecstatic when I received it at home! It was a perfect present for my birthday even if it’s just a cake. Nope, we are not in a beauty care products to look for the best wrinkle cream on the above picture, since a friend is asking me to get one that prevents premature aging. But we were in Jean Philippe Patisserie inside the newest hotel in Las Vegas, Aria. They have sumptuous and good-looking desserts available so of course, we didn’t take any chances but try out what they have to offer. Oh, it didn’t fail us. Though a slice of a cake would cost you around Php 500-600, yes just a slice, it was worth it though. We love the breads too!

I have been reviving my love for baking since I now have a nice kitchen.  Last week I attempted to make a banana loaf.  It wasn’t as pleasing looking as in the picture but I am proud to say that it was a success.  My husband loves it so much and he is even asking me to make one again.  

This week, I attempted to make a round chocolate cake.  The kids in turn love it as I put chocolate frostings as well.  Next week, I am thinking to do a lemon butter cake.  Let’s see if I can make a new career out of this new found hobby! lol!
