Last Monday, I had the privilege to be part of the symposium and book-signing of Preston Bailey in Manila. This is in celebration of 18th year in Business of Rita Neri. I totally forgot what my uncle was asking me to do that day to check out Polaris Ranger Accessories because I got so excited for the event. I got three wonderful books by Preston and had a chance to let him sign on all of my books. I am a super fan! I hope i get to enroll in one of his Event Styling Classes in the future.

Aren’t they a model in the making? Gorgeous aren’t they? Sorry love your own. But they are just like this with people they know. They are both very shy actually. That is why I have building their confidence by letting them go through some summer workshops like the Trumpets play shop so they can develop more their talents. More about the Trumpets Play Shop on my next post. For the meantime, I am already preparing for the 7th Birthday of Margaux. I am actually on the lookout for printdirectforless poster printing available as I need it for the birthday theme I am thinking. Do advise me if you have leads.

Oh! I think you will just be a dream for the meantime. I think I’m going to lose my hair if I buy you now so I might need a hair loss product to keep me sane, lol!  Been wanting to get this watch for the longest time but budget doesn’t permit yet.  Ok, so it is not a priority too so I should just settle for whatever I have.  Even if my birthday is coming in less than two weeks, I guess I won’t get it as surprise birthday present.

My kids enjoy being part of the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew this year. It was a week-long activity where about 15-20 kids get to experience to be one of the crew of this popular food chain. There was a registration of only Php 500 but the fee comes with T-shirt, bag, and a cap already. The kids were also fed every after their session. My kids had a blast on this summer activity. They get to enjoy being a greeter by the door, a cashier where they actually do not need a barcode scanner anymore, a crew who prepares the order and even a crew assigned in drive thru. And a stage mom like me, won’t miss these moments with my kids. Sharing few pictures…

Yes, the most- sought after event stylist in the US, a favorite of Oprah will be in Manila to conduct a symposium in Manila Peninsula Hotel. This will be on May 30. The guy will be brought in by Ms. Rita Neri in celebration of her 15th year in the wedding industry. I am so excited to be part of this and to meet the guy in person. I have been wanting to take on his courses. If there are online it degree available, Mr. Bailey offers online courses about event stylist, floral decorations and the like.  I am sure attending this symposium would be a worthwhile experience. It is just like a feeling of an IT graduate after taking an online it degree.

Ok, I’m lazy and stubborn to change on my laptop even if the husband gave me a final deadline already to transfer all my files to his MacbookPro. Apparently, the person buying my macbook white has been waiting for it already. But I just can’t seem to do so. One, I am lazy about change. I still want to continue using my white macbook despite the fact that I so love the MBP. This week is my last week or else the husband will revert the decision of giving me the MBP and he will just ask me to get any reconditioned laptops instead. So now, back to transferring files…

I came from my jewelry friend yesterday to have a pair of earrings to be reset. I wanted a different design for the earrings so I asked her to redesign for me. I also asked her to clean my wedding rings. But I am glad that she also gave me that jewelry cleaning liquid for my other jewelries. I am sure i can share the brand of that liquid to my clients as well as they always ask me the question of “how to care for your engagement ring.” It could be a good brand so let me try first.

We are on our 9th year already today! How happy I could be that I married the perfect man for me. I know there is no such thing as “perfect” especially in the context of marriage but for me, in my own connotation, in my own marriage, I have a happy married life.  I am happy that I have the right person beside me for the past 9 years of blissful celebration of our wedding, I am still head over heals to the man I said “I do!”

We already had an advance celebration last weekend where the two of us went to Tagaytay and enjoy the very fine accommodation in Discovery Country Suites. Our saturday last weekend started by having a late lunch in Bawai’s Restaurant. Read through a number of blogs how good the vietnamese food on this restaurant. We made a right choice. After which, our stay in the Nara room of DCS was a very relaxing experience. The whole weekend was spent talking about what have transpired to our marriage, to our family and our plans for the future, our dreams and goals in life. With another decade coming along our way, we are very excited on what the next few years still hold for us. We hope we can achieve all our dreams for the family most especially for our children.

Great 9 years of married life! Happy anniversary to my Babes!

Went to a dinner last night with some old time girlfriends and we have the whole night chit-chatting. Seems like we miss everyone practically. We just so much stories to tell and we enjoyed the company of each other. And to all of our surprises, we saw a friend who practically lost about 60 pounds already from the last time we saw her. She was really looking good and would kid her that she probably used OxyElite Pro to gain her figure now. But she said she was really strict with her diet and constant exercise. I envy her but I am just too lazy to be exercise at all. It’s been months since I last run around the village or even lifted a thing pertaining to diet. Anyway, so happy for her. It is always good to be reunited with old time friends.
