Thanks to the GC i got from Sofitel hotel, I was able to avail of a free haircut and free treatment from Philippe’s Salon.  It was a fresh cut and I like it very much!  I like how it was layered at the back.  I think I just need a retouch for my hair color as my hair roots are showing some white hair again and its not a pretty sight to behold.  I think I would be keeping this cut for a longer time.  I just need to have a trim often.  The husband is very happy with it.  She likes shorter hair on me.  I must admit, people are saying that I look younger too so might as well keep it this way.

So what’s new? As usual I am still busy. In fact, wording it that way is just an understatement. There are so many work to be done especially that the peak months are here. In few days, it would be October and most of our clients based abroad are starting to come home. Paper works are piling up. Thanks to the scanner software I was able to get. Compiling all documents of clients was made easy.  You see, I need to practically keep track of everything from contracts, to receipts even to the individual emails of the clients. My work space now is crazy! Really thinking now to get a secretary!

The girls were ecstatic for their new laptops which I got from Toys ‘R Us in Hong Kong. They immediately opened my luggage when I arrived home.  They actually waited for me even my flight back home was late in the evening. Of course, Margaux got the Disney Princess laptop while Bianca has the Dora the Explorer one. These are both Vtech manufactured and I was so happy for the prices. Got it at less than 250HKD each so both are no more than 1,500 in pesos.  Such a great deal!

No, not too soon but I once wanted to become a make-up artist. In my hope to be one, I even attended an informal training from one of the known make-up artists in the city today. I remember even studying about perfect eyebrows, contouring, right shades of foundation, smoky eyes and all. I even bought my models to be made up during some of the sessions. In fact, I also invested in a lot of premier make-ups and I went gaga over make-up brushes. Thinking to revive that interest so I went ahead in researching on schools offering those until I learned about cosmetology school in Orange Park, which has been founded for more than 50 years in Minneapolis and has now a number of campuses in different states. Known as Regency, this beauty school has been known to have upscale salons and provide excellent educational benefits to all its students. Sound interesting right? If you haven’t heard about the juicy gossip about John Lloyd Cruz and Shaina Magdayao then you are missing a lot. I don’t want to detail the story here so if you are reading this and still have no clue then google it, lol! I wonder if the side effects of extenze have worked with John Lloyd. It could be the reason why it happened. But it was such an embarrassing situation if it’s really true, which a number have confirmed, you know how showbiz news could be, and I pity Shaina for that matter.

Yeah, saw this cute panda in Ocean Park HK. They said this Panda is actually pampered, giving all its favorite food, with vitamins as well. My brother was kidding when he said that they are probably giving him a whey protein powder, since it looks so heavy and healthy. lol! It is actually inside an air conditioned glass room. It is such a cute creature. Wish my girls saw it themselves. Will bring the kids to Ocean Park the next time we go to HK. There are actually new attractions there already.

Should this SBD still won’t work, then I would consider taking Diet and energy pills already. A typical south beach diet breakfast meal for me would be like this…

That is onion omelette and a slice of daing na bangus.  It is surprising that is actually filling.  This breakfast meal can already last me until around 10am.  Then I take about 10 pieces of cashew nuts that can again last me until lunch time.  A typical lunch won’t have rice at all.  It would just be like about 20 slices of beef tenderloin, soup and a salad.  I would almost burp already every time I would just see the salad.  After 14 days in SBD, I am ok not to have salads for a year, lol!  There would be an afternoon snacks like 2 slices of ham lyoner.  Dinner would be a light fish sauteed in soy sauce.

This is a typical SBD diet and I have lasted on it for 14 days!

I really like the blow drying techniques of Piandre. I have tried several salons already but Piandre for me is still the best. I love the body my hair gets after. They have a certain way of blow drying the hair underneath so I get a fuller look. But I also realized that my hair has grown by about 5 inches already from my last cut. I think I better set a haircut appointment soon. And still thinking to have another keratin treatment too.

Oh and did you notice that I have few pimples on my forehead? Argh! I think I need to change my anti-acne cream as my old one has not been effective recently. Been too stressed out too actually.

This was where we stayed on our recent trip, since this is part of our time-sharing membership. Got the rates super cheap and at member’s rate. I love City Garden, though it is already located in North Point, the MTR station is just a about 5 minutes walk. On to the other street is also the tram station. We noticed how many guests checking-in all day long in the hotel. The last time we checked in here was about 5 years ago. They actually have improved their facilities and renovated their rooms. I noticed they mostly used some modern furniture.

Yes, It’s just about 103 sleeps before christmas day! Yipee! The kids are pretty excited again for the coming christmas. My eldest is particularly listing down already her wish lists. She really knows what to choose already for herself. What a kid! Now, this reminds me to actually think already of top gifts for sweetest day like Christmas. Thinking on what to give to my close family and friends and also to my dear husband.  As for my list, it has been prepared already since January! lol!

was spent with my brother and my parents.  We flew despite the hostage drama that took place about a 3 weeks ago.  Friends from HK assured us that it is still very safe to push through.  It was a well-spent trip and a much-awaited one for my folks.  It was actually my treat for them and I was so glad to have experienced it.  We never felt any hostile treatment from HK nationals since we arrived.  Immigration was a breeze and going around the malls was entirely safe.  I was a happy camper for shopping as well.  I won’t really get tired going to this city. Will definitely go back year after year after year.

I am in a destination where there is a sale in almost all stores.  These are last minute deals from the sale period last month.  Most of the stores have “last call” announcements on their display window.  So far, I bought the kids two nice V-tech laptops and perfumes for the husband as those are his instructions for me to get for him.  The trip is awesome. I really love this city.  Guess where I am? This is my royal retreat city.  It’s a must every year!
