It’s indeed a great 2009…

We moved to the new house, a realization of a dream!
The husband did very well with his job. Kudos to him!  He ended the year with flying colors!
I had a good number and quality accounts for my business.
The kids were safe and healthy despite having flu once in a while.
We had a number of celebrations with friends.
We had two out-of-the-country trips (HK and Guam).

And most of all, our family is complete and united. There are so many things to remember for 2009 and I just can’t count them in my fingers. ;)  Life is happiness!!!

Now, I claim that 2010 would even be better!!!

Have a fantastic new year everyone!!!

Great2009

My parents would renovate their house next year because they were badly hit by the recent storms that touched the country. They would replace their bathrooms including the existing faucets and sinks. Told my mom to just use Toto sink since it has been proven to be a good brand.  It would be costly to renovate but it is really needed.  But anyway, we look forward for a better house for them.

are graduating on March next year and they are hoping to be interviewed for some IT Jobs. One is graduating as Cum Laude from a prestigious university. In fact, he has been getting some invitation letters as early as now. Well, that’s good enough for a start. Both of them are actually not planning to leave the country to explore greener pasture. They said they both want to contribute to Philippine Society first more than bringing their talents abroad. I’m proud of their ideals! I hope it won’t change too soon ;) And I also hope that there would be good opportunities for them here so they won’t even regret for the decision they would make to stay in the country.

hannahmontana1

In celebration of their 100th day of school in Miriam College Child Study Center, the students were asked to be either in Hannah Montana, High School Musicals or Jonas Brothers outfits…

Good thing, I was able to buy a Hannah Montana dance mat with blonde wig and the Bratz rock guitar during the Toy Kingdom Sale.  She was in perfect outfit…

in the house happened last December 8. It was a party with wedding supplier friends. Thank goodness it was a good weather then so we were able to enjoy the cool breeze in the lawn. Our christmas lights were all set outside and the husband made sure to use safety products for all our lanterns, lights and decorations. It was indeed a fun night that continued until wee hours of the morning. I think the party finished almost 3am with just non-stop talking! Thanks to Tita Jet of Josiah’s for providing our food. The guests went home with take-out bags as well!

Bridal Invitations

Bridal Invitations

are a hit. I am talking about the Bridal Shower Invitations that my good friend released just today. We are all excited for her upcoming wedding so as her themed bridal shower. It has been a while since I last attended one so receiving the shower invitations made me ecstatic. The invites doubled as rehearsal dinner invitations as well. Coolness!

My friend even sent out her bridal invitation at the same time. Well, that was really a better idea. I think she got all her stationeries from http://www.express-invitations.com/. My friend said she didn’t have a hard time choosing her invitations since there are numerous designs to choose from. She also said that she was even able to view the proof right away using Express-Invitations‘ patented Instant Preview Feature. She even said that it was a quick turn-around since the proofs were emailed to her within an hour after she has chosen a design. Isn’t great? Now, I am conviced that invitations can really be ordered online easily!

yet on my blogs since I’m still very much busy. In fact, I didn’t seem to realize that its practically just 6 days before Christmas!!! My blogging mojos are out. I need some inspirations and much time to sit down and write about personal stuff. But good thing, there are just some online backup sites for pictures to share with close friends and family. My flickr account is very much active. It is an easier option.  Most online friends are also updated with their flickr accounts rather than their blogs.  Maybe, it is also because everyone is already in holiday mode!

Looks like I am going to do a lot of catching up with blogging…goodluck to me! ;)

happening in the house tomorrow and on Saturday, I have asked the househelps to do general cleaning of the house. I even asked them to scrub all metal tiles in the dirty kitchen as well as clean all glass windows. I have asked them to polish the wood on all furnitures and vaccuum the fabrics as well. They would also scrub the garage tomorrow as that would be our back-up venue in case it rains in the evening. But I really hope it would be a good weather. Glad, the household helps are not complaining. They shouldn’t right?

Baby Announcements

Baby Announcements

Using Photo Announcing Baby for the new addition in the family can be uniquely done. Like the sample card above. I so love the wordings that were used on this birth announcement card!  I am taking note. I hope we could also score a boy next time ;)

I would also love to use a photo birth announcement just in case. The same which I saw from http://www.birth-cards.com/. Unique and exclusive designs are available only at Birth-Cards. A wide selection of baby birth announcements are all posted in their site. Options to add pictures or logo are allowed. Can even change the color of the card and they have many suggestions for the wordings as well. Should you need ideas for baby announcements, bookmark their site!

The husband and I would have a planning session before the year ends for our goals in the coming year. I always look forward to it as we also plan for our travel budget for the year. Next year would definitely be a trip to the US. As much as I would like to include a Europe trip, I think that plan should take a back seat until 2012. ;)

Nevertheless, I still can’t help but dream about going to Europe sometime. It is one of my ultimate travel destinations I wish to go to on this lifetime. I wish to go to popular cities in Europe like Paris, Rome, and London. I was browsing a blog of a friend who recently went to Europe. I took a lot of notes on the places she recommends to visit. Now, I can’t help but browse some more. I found out about a site that gives information and reviews about different Restaurants in UK. The site is very informative for a tourist like me who would like to plan for a European trip. Since you do not want to waste money and time in dining in a non-sense restaurant or even bars/pubs, checking the popular and favorite Restaurants London from the site would be quite helpful. A review by patrons are being given on each shop or restaurant. It is also easy to navigate since a map is actually provided so you won’t get lost as well in finding the restaurants or Pubs London. If you love shopping, you can also check the site for a complete list of stores to watch out based on what you are looking for. A schedule of activities on a particular place is also updated in the site. I definitely have bookmarked the site.

Now, planning for a Europe trip has never been this easy because of tremendous resources you can find online. I hope the dream would come true in the coming years.

of the six parties we would have in the house for this month of December. It would be a party for some wedding suppliers friends. I was asking the husband to actually come home early so he would get to meet as well my friends from the industry. Apparently, tomorrow would be a busy day for him as they are rushing to prepare for a new product to be launched early next year. He wants that their new product of remote backup service would be up and running as early as 1st week of January so they could start promoting it to their clients. But he promised to still come home early. On the other hand, I am really hoping that weather would be good so we could just enjoy the cool breeze by the garden.

Yes, I have been in Hiatus from blogging after coming from Guam two weeks ago. First, I still can’t get over with the wonderful family vacation we had. Secondly, back to reality, there are tons of work waiting for me. Thirdly, kids getting sick in between so that added up to my stress. But glad they are both better now!

It’s just 23 days before christmas and I am not yet done with christmas shopping! I’m not yet even half of my list! That should take a back seat for a while as I have 7 events coming up! Which explains the two zits on my forehead! :P Oh, but I was still able to snag some great deals from Thanksgiving sale both online and from the SM thanksgiving sale! (lol!) ;) Well, that proves that I’m a multi-tasker!

Work is piling up so I really need to concentrate. I am also logging behind from my writing assignments :-( There are also so many personal matters that I even have to attend to. Not to mention that we are hosting about 6 parties in the house just for this month of December!

Oh well, two many reasons why I have been in hiatus! I also haven’t bloghopped for like a month now as well. Thanks to FB and Twitter, I can keep up with friends.

I hope to get back to the groove of blogging before the week ends. Wish me luck!
