As mentioned in my previous posts, after the school program yesterday, the kids went around the houses within the street of their school to do some trick or treat.  Margaux is already in vacation since Wednesday so she helped out her little sister to go around the place.  Bianca’s costume is a red bug which I just quickly grabbed from the mall last monday since I realized that the old dumbo costume of Margaux, which she was supposed to wear doesn’t fit her anymore.

Party Birthday Invitations

It was timely during the school’s program yesterday in House of Little People (playschool of Bianca) that the mommies/daddies were there so we were able to distribute Party Birthday Invitations of Bianca. She would have a simple party in school and yes, she is quite excited about it. She was even the one who chose particularly the design of her birthday invitations from Express-Invitations.

What’s good about the party invitation which we ordered from their site, http://www.express-invitations.com/, we were able to modify the design and even change some of the colors. Bianca particularly wanted a colored-yellow invitation since it is her favorite. And the revisions were no additional cost even if we have to change the design twice. I am very happy with the turn-out. Now, its time to complete the lootbags and prizes!

I am one proud mommy for my little girl Bianca for the performance level she showed during their halloween program in school yesterday.  She sang with the whole group and then there were two poems with some of her classmates.  And the culmination of all was her dance number to the tune of “nobody but you!”  

I was so happy to see her swing her hips and butt left and right.  She’s such a cutie.  I was working as a photographer, videographer and a coach as the same time!  So sorry if there were out of focus shots!  Too bad, the husband wasn’t able to witness it since he had an important meeting.  Actually, it was my fault as well that he wasn’t able to come.  I told him early this week that the program was moved on a wednesday but apparently, I got the wrong information from the yaya.  I was selective in listening most of the time especially when I am busy!  harharhar!  (excuses!)

Anyway, they ended their day by going around the houses in the same street of their school for trick or treat!

I’m on my fourth day of South Beach diet and surviving!  I am not sure if I could last for straight 14 days of no carbs, no sweets!  Let’s just count it daily, ok?  But the good news is, I  already lost 2lbs!  :P  Half pound a day!  Not bad!

Baby Shower Invitation

As you know, I get excited when topics are All About Baby Showers. Good friends are bearer of good news for the past weeks about the new additions to their family. Some are even preparing as early as now for their baby shower. Most of my friends are having baby girls! I’m happy for them. Makes me think that my kids would have future playmates as well. Though she’s three already, she would still be my baby just like her Ate Margaux. I’m so blessed to have my kids! Wouldn’t trade anything for them!

Aside from getting busy buying gifts for our family and friends, we also take time to send out Christmas Greeting Cards especially to our families and friends abroad. But how often do we actually send out Holiday Thank You Cards as well? Appreciation of one’s gift is a very important gesture. in the mall today, I would try to find some christmas decors already for the house. I plan to start decorating right after the halloween. I hope I could manage to squeeze it then. In fact, got to really have those scented candles ready at home since we would have a number of parties and we can’t sometimes control that friends do some Black and Mild cigars. The candles would atleast help clear out the smell.

It’s a brand new week and its already the last week of October. Christmas is really just around the corner. How I wish I’ve got “NOTHING” on my to do list like the one above but that has never happened in the past years of my life! I am not complaining though. We should feel blessed with whatever work we have. Anyway, aside from personal to-do list I have like Bianca’s birthday next week in school, christmas preparations for parties, decors and gifts, and our upcoming trip, work for me is doubly busy.  As everyone knows, peak months for events are during the months of November till January.  I almost can’t fathom how I would survive this year’s peak season again as I have a number of “BIG TIME” events.  But let’s just say that I already made my preparations as early as August so I’m now ready for whatever battle.  We really made a right decision to build a home office in our new place that makes it easier for me to have the feel of a working environment. Aside from that, I have geared my home office with necessary small business office tools which are all essential if you have an almost virtual office like me. Most of our clients who are based abroad do rely only to my accessibility and responsiveness to their queries. All the tools I got are of big help for me really.  Now, I can only have faith to the Man Up There who will guide me all throughout.

For 2 days now, the husband would do some swings in our lawn every morning. The kids do love watching him and was even asking their dad to teach them especially Margaux. Hmmm, could it be a good sports for them? I have heard about those junior golf champions and there were even some who are girls. Well, I am not sure though since I don’t want them to be playing under the sun! But aside from playing golf, Bianca on the other hand wants to get a dog. I am also not sure if I would get her one considering that she has atopic dermatitis. And oh, I don’t even want to think about extra mess in the lawn so as those pet supplements

Yesterday morning…

as of this time. I am feeling cold and I have runny nose and bad cough. I think it would already lead to something. But I have tons of work to do and I cannot afford not to finish it. So here I am, inside our own room, doing my job in between sleep. Got to isolate myself to the kids as well as I heard Bianca is already been coughing since this morning. Aw! I hope it won’t progress. And oh, I really feel cold now, wonder if an electric blanket would do the trick!

in Manila Ocean Park last Thursday was a total FUN!  The kids had a blast watching the dancing ladies so as moving around inside the ocenarium.  Although, it was already our 2d time to be here, Margaux of course still enjoyed it since this time, she was with her classmates from school.  Some pictures from the trip…

High School Graduation Party Invitations

In no time, I am expecting some High School Graduation Announcements again from my aunts. Two of my cousins are graduating from middle school and I am pretty sure their mommies would really take time and effort to prepare their high school graduation invitation.

Last year, my aunt gave out high school graduation announcement for her twins. I so love the high school graduation party invitation which they ordered from GraduationCardsShop. But before I get back to work, I would like to share the good news that the husband lost 10lbs already in just 6 days!!! Thanks to South Beach Diet! He started Monday of last week. He actually told me not to ask him anymore about it and just go and order it so he won’t have a choice if his food would be delivered already in the office. He weighed last saturday and was very happy to see the results! He is still on his way to lose more pounds but I think he is getting there! I plan to keep him on 1st phase of this diet for atleast a month! Gladly, he is happy as well with the food and starting to make conscious effort to follow the regimen.

Printable Thank You Cards

I was fixing some old files when I actually got hold of heartwarming Thank You Cards from different people.  Some came from my clients. Mostly, these are well-written notes from my previous brides. It is so good to read them all again on an early sunday morning! It’s really great to be part of the best days of their lives!  I also got to check again those business thank you cards from friends in the industry, and some party thank cards for attending birthdays and anniversaries.  And oh, I also saw the extra baby thank you cards from Bianca’s party 2 years back which I ordered from CardsShoppe.

My aunt is introducing me to investing in silver coins. The investment is through Monex Depost Company. I never thought that you can really invest in a silver coin or even in a form of ingot. They said that now is the best time to buy silver ingot or coins since the demand is more than what can be produced and what’s available in the market. The investment portfolio presented to us looks promising. But I am not sure yet if I would also invest like what my aunt did already. Of course, I still have to ask for approval from the husband.  I told my aunt I would give my final word by next week.

So everyone is talking about it in Twitter and pictures were posted in Flickr already!  I am excited to check on my loots too and also to try it on to model the blouses.

Birthday Invitation

3 more weeks and i haven’t ordered yet Bianca’s Birthday Party Invitations. The little girl is turning 3 and she would have a simple birthday party in her play school. I already talked to the teacher and asked as to how many party invitation should I prepare for the classmates. I am still deciding on the theme of the party though. One parent suggested to have a tropical theme since the kids love playing outdoor especially in their sand box.

I need to ask feedback from friends who have been there before. Good thing I also have a former bride who is residing there and is very much willing to assist me on planning our itinerary. We are actually not staying for long so it is important that we maximize our days. I don’t know, I just can’t decide again just like when I was looking for a hotel in the city when we went to Hongkong last month. The husband said I should book it before the week ends. I hope I can manage to do all the comparison of the hotels. I’m down to 3 options: Outrigger Hotel, Westin Hotel or Hyatt Hotel. I hope it won’t be this hard when we decide to go for Outer Banks vacation homes.

It’s a brand new day. Although I am still sleepy but I am glad that I got some Medifast coupons online this morning. It’s a great treat for me! Husband is now seriously taking his diet plan so I should also support him or say the least follow? Will see how it is progressing on him and I might start with my diet plan as well by next week. Need to get fit before we hit the beach again this November!
