It’s just a a little more than a month for our upcoming HongKong Trip and I haven’t booked our hotel yet! Gee, I need to do this soon. I might end up getting higher rates if I book last minute deals. But I have been looking for the site which a friend forwarded to me on some deals with Novotel. Now, I can’t seem to find it. Too bad, I wasn’t able to bookmark it. Tomorrow, over the weekend, while the husband is here, will browse from our desktops possible hotel accommodations. I also want him to decide as well so I won’t be blame for anything. I would also ask him if we can book as well our hotel in Guam for November.
As I said, I would make separate postings about the distribution of our “bags!” So before I make a research about Seattle personal injury lawyer for a cousin of mine who needs one, let me share some pictures as how we were when Aggie was handing over our purchases! Yes, let’s confess…it was all our purchases, not a “balikbayan pasalubong” from Aggie (although, she seems to look like one while giving out the boxes with our individual names), not for sale to our other friends and not gifts to the birthday celebrants!

Yes, most of us bought Coach Bags! Thanks to Glo! It was shipped through a Balikbayan Box.
We had it last sunday in the house. And I am so honored that most of them came. I know most of them are coming all the way from the south area so our location is entirely an excursion already. But I am so glad to see all of them. Miss these girls already even if like we always talk in Flicker, FB and Twitter. We just can’t get enough of stories to talk about.
Here we are the birthday celebrants…all the J’s on June! (Jane, Joy, me and Jacqui)

We had CCME to cater for us just like our Christmas Party 2008. Good food as usual as Jacqui was the one who chose the menu for us. I had to order an Alex Franco cake as a special request of most especially Aggie. I also prepared chicken fajitas which was also wiped out in an instant! lol! I forgot to bring out the ice cream as well for the kids so it was just the few who stayed behind for a while who were able to have it.
Anyway, we were all relaxed during this get-together as we had our kids stay in the playroom of Margaux and Bianca, except for Joaqui of Peachy and Manu of Kelly who rather stayed in the living room to play with their PSPs.
The mommies stayed in our dining table while the daddies stayed in the garage and played poker. I think they were able to do 2 games for that matter. So we really had the time of our lives to just laugh hard and make non-stop stories! Of course, the topics were the ones who were not present! (wink, wink!)
One of the agendas also of the meet-up is the distribution of our “bags.” Aggie was like a “balikbayan” when she was handing to us our individual boxes!!!! And it was a riot! I tell you. I’ll post the pictures separately. We were all laughing as we were announcing different alibis to our husbands about the “bags” we got. Some claimed, it was just for 50usd! Some said, it was a birthday gift from MBAP. And others claim that they would sell it to their friends! The scene was just so funny!
We also had to discuss our Christmas Party preparation. We decided to celebrate again early. Yes, as early as October. And we have decided to come in themed colors per family. Of course, we would have non-stop pictorials again this time. I can’t wait again for another meet-up.
Oh by the way, thanks to the girls for their gifts for us bday celebrants…a GC from Tips and Toes!
Here are some pictures, (others are grabbed from Joy and Kelly).

Thanks girls for that wonderful sunday!
I usually see this kind of icon in FB. Tried it myself and I am happy on what’s written down…
I am claiming this message…on what God wants me to know today…
Jody got a message that on this day,
God wants her to know…
that God has an important purpose for you, and made everything possible for you to succeed.
That’s not to say it’s an easy purpose, or a convenient one. It might very well seem hard or even impossible, but it only looks that way. The truth is that one day you will look back and see how all the pieces fit together. And how your life has been a complete and utter success.
yes, Margaux’s first ever in a salon! It is usually just her daddy who would cut her curls at the end. But this time, I was able to convince her to try it on a salon. I noticed that her hair has been growing unevenly. Well, what do you expect if its the daddy who cut her hair previously? He’s no pro! But I just can’t do it myself so I decided to bring her to David’s Salon in Eastwood.
She was very excited about the thought of it. She has been bugging me from the time she learned that would have a haircut in a salon. She’s really no longer a baby. She knows “kikay” stuff already!
Her hair was shampooed! I wasn’t able to take a picture of her as I was having my hair shampoeed as well! (wink, wink!). Then she enjoyed sitting on a high chair while waiting for her stylist…
Pardon my shot…kinda dark in the area.

Then she was even busy playing a game in my phone…

Really busy huh?

Then her hair was blow-dried!

The finish product…

She enjoyed the experience! She excitedly talked about what was done to her with her daddy when we got home.
But after a day, all her curls went back! Aw! hehehe.
Anyone familiar with stock market? With global recession and crisis, I am not sure if stock market is still a viable option for investments. A friend has been telling me about stock options trading and that we should consider it as well. I really do not have any idea at all about it. I think I would need some tutorials about it. I have been searching on the web and I am overwhelmed with a lot of articles related to it. But my friend recommends to check out the tools offered by PowerOptions. She said that if I really want to learn how to trade online, I should consider that since they have a complete suite of educational materials and even provides a customer support. My friend recommends that I should know the trade that provides a highest return option. Amazingly, PowerOptions provides that and is even internet-based. She recommends that I accept the 14-day trial first to see for myself. I don’t know really how to start but maybe after further consultation, I might consider. We’ll see.
Once you have lost your course in blogging, like being offline for few days, it is sometimes so hard to get yourself back to the groove again. I feel so lazy to blog nowadays so I actually used my time online by doing some window-shopping to different stores. Its retail therapy for me, though I am not exactly buying anything at all. I have been drooling over nice handbags from Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue since sunday. I have also been looking at some Naot shoes from FootWearEtc. I am also choosing and just adding to wishlists some nice beddings from Amazon and some cute toys from ToysRUs. Oh, its endless I tell you! And there are just some things there that are making me sleepless! I better be back to writing if I want to purchase those stuff! lol!
is what I need next week. I cancelled my appointment with Chiyo two weeks ago. I hope there’s an available date next week but she’s always fully book so I would just try my luck. I hope Chiyo would allow me to have a shorter hair this time. I really want this cute hairstyle like Katie Holmes…

I so love Katie and so love her hair as well. This lady is not even ageing at all. I wonder if she is using such best eye cream. I heard wrinkle creams are not even enough to eliminate dark circles around eyes and to cover up the wrinkles on the eyes. So better to get a 100% effective eye creams. I am sure celebrities like Katie do use some of those. For the meantime, I would just dream that my hair would even be close to what Katie has now. Let’s see next week.
Margaux has number of assignments to complete this weekend. Although, there was no classes yesterday due to heavy rains, her teacher texted this morning the worksheets she has to finish from her textbooks. So our saturday was spent answering all her assignments. I am proud that the little girl is learning a lot from school. She can now completely write her full name and starting to read 4 to 5 letter words. I noticed as well that she’s good with numbers. I guess she got that ability from her dad, who is definitely better than me in Math, lol! Time really flies so fast. My preschooler is making big leaps! Look how she’s becoming a prim little girl…

so it makes the kids and even the husband to stay at home. We all want to just stay in bed. But there are a number of good news today. My mom is getting better although totally not well yet. She still need to be assisted whenever she has to stand up and walk. We are still praying for her full recovery. So we are all just home now. We would have a DVD marathon later probably as I want to watch all HP movies again, in preparation to watch the new release.
My brother has been recovering from his vertigo attacks as well. So that’s another good news. Then my friend from Fremont California called asking about the condition of my mom. I am grateful for friends who are concerned and are praying for our family. It is just so good to receive support from them. Well, she also mentioned that she would finally be reunited to her parents in New York. My friend was assigned by her IT company for two years to work in Fremont. But now that the contract is done, she would move back to New York. She looks forward to finally getting back home. She told me that she might not be able to call me for few weeks since she would be busy packing and doing some cross country moving. Good thing she is contracting the best moving company from CA to NY. I wish her well. Next year, we hope to see her in New York. It has been her long standing invitation. I really hope to get together with her.

Although we are going through a lot of trials at this time because of my mom’s sickness, it is still good ofcourse to be thankful for daily simple blessings. I’m sure the Lord is always there for us. I am confident that He is our Refuge and mighty Healer.
So for me now Happiness are…
1. Kids have recovered from their bad coughs and cold.
2. The husband also has recovered from his flu.
3. My mom can already sit-up and walk little by little. That’s a good improvement from last week that she can’t barely move. God is good!
4. Supportive family and friends who are all praying for my mom’s recovery.
5. New clients and existing clients who understanding of my current situation.
6. Reliable great staff! Thanks for putting up with me girls and attending to clients needs on times I cannot work.
7. Online payments.
8. Good health for me. I know I continue to be healthy so I can continue to be supportive to my loved ones getting sick.
9. Losing weight. Could be the effective fat burners as well. Thanks to reference guides online that provided information that provided the real truth on how to lose weight safely.
10. My PLDT DSL when I’m home and my Sun Broadband when I am outside the house. Makes me online almost everytime. I so love the power of internet that I can even research on what could really be causing my mom’s sickness. It proves to provide a wealth of information that I could understand what the doctors are saying.

Indonesia! Oh, not me, but another wedding planner friend. I envy her! Apparently, I am supposed to do this wedding in Bali on December but the date just doesn’t correspond to a date on December that we are free. We need atleast 4days free in order for us to accept the work. The client is trying to figure out if she can still change the date since she really wants to get us. Unfortunately, we really have to turn down already since we are committed also to some events here in Manila already, so I just referred another coordinator friend to do the wedding. But I would love to do such kind of destination weddings. I haven’t tried overseas but we always do something out-of-town. I would have loved to do a wedding in one of the Karisma Hotels. A wedding happening on a white-sand beach of Riviera Maya would be a romatic event. In fact, most of the Karisma Hotels even offer a new-gourment menu concept. Their facilities are widely known also to meet the expectations of elite and the affluent. Its truly a relaxing moment when you can have your wedding guests stay in their ocean view rooms. If we would have such, it would be one of our most memorable event in the history of our business. Oh, I hope we could bag one as well!
You’re Pretty Fit |
![]() You are fitter than most people but likely not as fit as you want to be. You do your best to work out, but you probably don’t do it as much as you like. Maybe you need to do mini-workouts throughout the day to fit in exercise. Or maybe you need a whole new activity to motivate you. No matter what, you should get moving!
|
It’s good to know through this test that I am pretty fit. But I want to keep it at that so I’m planning to continue few things on my weekly routine:
1. Run around the village at minimum twice a week.
2. Do air climber for minimum of 30mins every day.
3. Swim in our clubhouse pool for an hour atleast once a week.
4. Also, planning to do bikram yoga by next month.
5. And if everything fails in my goal to achieve my ideal weight before we could consider baby #3, I might consider diet pills with ephedra. As I need to increase my metabolism and ephedra is known to incredibly raise metabolism rate and has been associated to weight loss.
a walking zombie already after lacking sleep for like a week now. Gee, I hope all these things would be over. I hope my mom would get back to recovery soon. I am frustrated that doctors cannot find what’s wrong with her, clearing her up from all MRI and CTScan results. But the jerky movement of her eyes is still present that causes her dizziness and vomitting. Her sickness is related to vertigo as well so she was given medication for it. We would be sending my mom next week to another doctor so we could get a second opinion. As for me, I hope I could rest already by tomorrow. My husband said he could see some fine lines already around my eyes because of lack of sleep. But he says that I’m still the apple of his eyes. lol! Oh, now I am considering if I should get some wrinkle cream already? What could be the criteria in considering the best one in the market? Of course I would base it if it is safe, effective and cost efficient. Would find time to research on that.
is because I am dobly busy and stressed. Everyone in the family is getting sick. My mom is still being diagnosed as to what’s the real cause of her dizziness. But I am just hoping that it is not something very serious. One of her doctors said she might just have to get prescription glasses. If that’s the case, I heard about $ 8 Rx eyeglasses since I watched Zenni Optical on TV!!! . A number of good reviews are being made about Zenni Optical since they have been offering affordable presciption glasses not just for adults but even for kids. In fact, they are gaining a good number of customers especially for kids getting back to school. One mom said, High Five to Zenni Optical! It is something worth getting since you not need to worry much that her kid might dropped it. They do offer plastic presciption glasses as well. I hope my mom would just need the same thing.

So do you think the slimming pills are working? lol! You have to depend on something that really works so you have to rely on reviews that gives honest, dependable and detailed information on whatever diet pills you are taking. As for me, running around the village works for me and very recently, I brought out again our air climber. I’ve got to be in good shape and be fit when I wear again my swimsuit in time for our trip to Guam on November. So I’m working doubly hard you know!
And if you are asking why take your own pictures in front of the mirror? Its one of the “in” things in Flickr! ;) And yes, I’m addicted to Flickr! Reason why I sometimes so lazy to just blog when I can just upload all pics there and get nice comments from friends! No words needed. Pictures can talk! Of course, they all commented that I’m slim already! I just love my friends in Flickr! :-p
