Jane wants to know our daily schedule since we already have a preschooler. I realized actually that our routines changed especially in the morning. And it’s a big change for me because I used to snooze in bed until 9am! But not anymore…

6am – Wake-up call (the whole family: Dicky, Me, Margaux and Bianca)

610am-630am – Eat breakfast. Margaux is so slow in eating. This time Dicky is already taking a bath. He doesn’t actually eat breakfast a lot. He’s fine in just drinking water and taking his diet pills, lol! During this time, I also check the snacks that the yaya prepared. Night before, I have already informed the yaya on what to prepare.

6:30am – Margaux takes a bath, usually with me! Yes, we take a bath together and even brush our teeth together. It is her usual request. So can you imagine the change in me? I’m wide-awake at 630am after the bath! Not very me.

6:50am – The yaya prepares Margaux, dress her up, put on her socks. But I’m proud to say that Margaux can actually dress up by herself already. She has always been insisting to do it recently.

By 715am – Dicky and Margaux should be hitting the road already to make it on time her 8am schedule. Dicky proceeds to work after dropping Margaux.

By the time they left, I usually play with Bianca, blocks, bike, her baby doll, or just about anything.

8am – Logging in already. Check emails, do some work and most of the time blog and twit!

930am – Prepare to leave the house to pick up Margaux.

1015am – Pick up Margaux

11am – We are back home. Do some work again, while the yayas are preparing the food of the kids for lunch. Usually, nakaluto na sila!

12-1230pm – Lunch

Then after lunch, my schedules are erratic already. I’m usually out by 130pm to catch some meetings. If no meetings, I would usually stay home.

The kids are taking nap between 2pm-4pm. Pag beyond 330pm na, I don’t let them sleep na especially Margaux, otherwise, she won’t go to bed early in the evening.

4pm – Usually, we are taking merienda. Then the kids will play outside, run around or bike.

630pm – Dinner time for the kids. Wash-up and go to the room already.

If we (Dicky and I) are still out, the kids can even sleep early. But if we’re home, they would sleep between 9-10pm already.

When they are sleeping already, Dicky and I still watched TV until around 12mn.

Because Margaux loves Dora, the Explorer a lot and watching dvds day in and day out, she knows a lot of spanish words already. I am actually suprised about the words she has been saying. I sometimes stop and figure out what she means. Gee, I might need an english to spanish interpreting next time! Hahaha. But I actually love it when I hear her count in spanish, when she sings some spanish songs. Makes me feel a proud mom.

Last night, Dicky was helping her in her Kumon worksheet about pasting.  After finishing the page, she said to Dicky, “iLo hicimos!  And then Dicky looked at me frowning, as if asking me what does it mean.  I told him it means, “We did it!” which is actually from the song which Dora and Boots sing often after each show.  Dickly laughed hard and can’t believe that Margaux was talking in spanish and that I even understood it.  How could not I?  She drags me all the time in watching Dora, the Explorer DVDs by saying ” ivamonos”  meaning “let’s go!”

Cutey right?

I have asked Dicky if we can buy a dog, cause the kids especially Bianca seems to like one. But Dicky is so concern about litter training a dog. He’s not a dog person actually and so do I. But Bianca always scream in joy whenever seeing one so I’m really thinking to get a cute little puppy for her. Probably one that would be easy to manage and potty train! If ever, I would get the UGODOG which is a great indoor dog potty training system.

Can you believe what I read about the article that dog potty training requires positive reinforcement. Gee, seems like when we do decide to get a dog, Bianca and the dog would be on potty training at the same time! The article says to be patiet with pets. The training time can be lengthy and can depend upon the age, training level and habits. Wow, very much like for a kid. The UGODOG is ideal for pets which are used to pee pads. It can be placed in the same place as where the dog has been accustomed in using the pee pads. They said that when the pee pads are removed, saying to the pet “you pee here” is encouraged. Very much like what we are doing to Bianca now. Hahaha. And they said, be sure to reward the pet afterwards if it was successful. And can you believe, I’m also doing that in potty training! Giving stickers whenever Bianca is succesful in peeing in the bowl!

Can we really manage one?  I need to convince Dicky.
