Dicky and I went last night to the launch of this new community being built along E.Rodriguez Ave in Libis, Quezon City (near Eastwood). The project looks very promising. It would have commercial buildings as well and they said famous designer brands will be placed there since the Tantoco’s got a share of the property. So a Rustans’ store will be on its way there so as their other Store Specialists brands. We had a tour of their model units and boy, I love the designs. They were all modern designs even the furnishings. In the one-bedroom unit, I particulary like the bedding that was used. It was a sheer white, very chic look. Since it is pre-selling, the rates are imaginable compared to other projects. The first residential tower will be availble by December 2011. It could be a good investment but since we are building a house next year, this might take a back seat. But they do offer a very good pricing scheme. The initial outlay was really reasonable. Dicky was kidding me that the reservation fee is even cheaper than the recent bag I bought and yes it is. I’m wishing I can afford even just a studio-type for an investment. Working on the excel files!
Because Jacqui told me that there’s a 20% off in selected Gucci Bags in Greenbelt 4, I went yesterday just to check. I purposely didn’t bring a credit card while I was checking items inside the store. There’s one bag on sale that caught my fancy. It’s the “jolicouer classic.” I didn’t buy it “yet.”
And then I turned to the new collections! This one is haunting me since I walked out the store! It’s the White Large Boston Joy Collection. And with it’s price, it’s a great steal! It’s almost the same price as the one on sale! Last 2 pieces as per the sales associate!
Whaaah! I’m not buying, I’m not buying! I’m not buying!
Thanks to Vannie for this award. Passing this award to Yvelle, Jade, and Eds.

On our last day, we woke up early to have a stroll along the beach again. This time, we went farther to Station 1 until we reached Fridays. There’s a new resort being built beside Chalet Tirol which is called Ambassador of Paradise. I learned that all villas of this new resort has a built in ademco security system. Beside this resort being constructed is the Discovery Shores. This resort is so beautiful but expensive as well. We took advantage to have our pictorial infront of this resort. I think we took a number of pictures that morning since it was our last day already. We went back to our resort after to take our breakfast in one of the cabanas again. And since it was a monday already, I noticed that there were lesser people on the beach.
Here are more of our pics…
After breakfast, Dicky and Margaux went down to the sand and tried to make a sand castle.
Then we hit the beach again. Since its our last day already, we took advantage to stay long.
Then I took Bianca to the pool.
I again requested the cook of White House resort to prepare lunch for us. It was sinigang na baboy and garlic shrimp this time. After lunch, we decided to go back to the room to start packing. We were allowed to have a late check-out since our flight was still at 440pm. We were picked up for our transfers at 3pm already. We actually waited a bit longer. We stayed in the cabanas again to have some pictures. Our flight back to Manila was late for an hour! Actually, all flight back to Manila that time even from other airlines were late. Don’t know why.
This was the view from the veranda of our room.
It was a great vacation for the whole family. The kids enjoyed it. Will definitely return again.
More of our pictures are posted here.
I went to a party last night for the thanksgiving party of Wedding Essentials Magazine. I don’t know if it’s just because of my tan but a lot of my co-suppliers have noticed that I slimmed down! Most of them commented that I look thin now! Ok, I had to admit, I was wearing black. So could it just be my wardrobe as well? Part of me feels really that my tummy flatten a bit. ”A bit” are the words. I’m still down to few more sessions before I do measure up myself again. Let’s see if there are inches that are shed of. Otherwise, I might think to take some diet supplements like leptovox.
Since we slept early on our 1st day, the kids also woke up early last Sunday. Dicky took the kids for a walk along the beach while I still stayed in bed. Margaux and Bianca just loved the sand very much. They loved playing with it.
(and I just have to post this picture…what’s on both sides?)
I joined them at 830am to have breakfast in one of the cabanans of our resort. Our package includes daily breakfast and their tocino was just yummy. After breakfast, the kids changed to their swimsuits but again played on the sand, this time with their tools.
Bianca was just so amazed with the white sand. She was putting it all over her legs.
But Margaux loved the swimming pool better than the beach. Maybe, she was feeling the waves and she was overwhelmed in the vast area of the beach. She preferred swimming in the pool so we let her be. And because she was wearing a floater, she can swim comfortable in the middle of the pool even if she can’t touch the floor anymore.
We took our rest in time for lunch. We then went back to the room to take our nap. This is life…just purely play…no work at all! Margaux and I played with the camera. I took her picture and she took my picture. The end results…
After our nap, we again went back to the beach to hang around again. Some snapshots first infront of our resort.
We tried to catch the sunset while on the beach but we just can’t get a perfect picture. The yaya needs a lot of coaching on taking pictures. This was our best shot!
That evening we tried the dinner buffet in Waling-Waling resort which was just 3 resorts away from White House. But Bianca still followed her sleeping schedule so we had her stay in the room with her yaya. The dinner buffet was good. I particularly liked the stir-fried station and the grilling station. Then they do have a fire dance at 8pm to entertain the guests. An acoustic singer was also there performing all throughout the night. It was a big dinner for all of us!
and we will be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary. I’m desperate already on what to get the husband. I really do not know what to give. Maybe, just my utmost love and support? lol! Ok, fine. I have reconcilled with him. I just overreacted yesterday with a very petty thing. I have been asking him as to what he wants, but he would never entirely mention it. But I have a hint that he wants an LCD TV. But I feel that it is not timely to get it since we don’t have a wall to put it on yet. Maybe next year, when we build the house already. I can even consider buying a home theater furniture to partner with it. As for this year, I’m still undecided.
Our Boracay trip was a blast! It was tiring but it was all worth it. Boracay is still suprisingly beautiful although there has been a number of developments each time we set foot here. There’s a number of sprawling new resorts and we even saw one condo hotel being built in Station 3. I’m a beach bum as you know so I would still love to go back again and again to this island.
We left the house as early as 4am since we are taking first flight via Air Philippines at 5:50am. We arrived in the airport even before 430am and we immediately checked-in. The yaya, who is supposed to be taking the 6:10am flight was able to go with us already since there were vacant seats from our flight. Good thing I asked so we didn’t have to wait for her.
While waiting for boarding…
The two kids were behaved on the plane. Bianca just slept all throughout the trip. After 50 minutes, we arrived safely in Caticlan airport. We were then transported to the port where we had to take the boat. The transfer was a breeze and the kids were still very behaved. Thank goodness!
We arrived in White House resort in Station 1 at 8am. Check-in time is at 1pm. I called the day before to check if we can check in early and said they can accommodate as long as they don’t get any booking. But unfortunately, we had to wait since someone occupied the family room the night before. It was ok since we left our luggages in their concierge and we just immediately changed to our swim gears so we can hit the beach right away. It was so obvious that we were so excited to get our tans! We just ordered food c/o the cook of White House. That’s the good thing about the resort, we didn’t have to go to D’ Talipapa or D’Mall to eat. We were just lazy to do that. Instead, I just gave money to the cook so he can just cook anything that we want. We had steamed crabs, sinigang na hipon and pancit canton for lunch! Enjoyed it a lot!
After our lunch, we were able to check-in already. The family room was huge. It located at the 2/F, has a queen size bed and 3 big single beds. It also has a private veranda. Since we started the day early, we all decided to take a rest. The kids took a long nap. We weren’t able to swim anymore that afternoon till dinner. We just went to D’ Mall in the evening to have a stroll. But we still had our food prepared in White House by the cook and we had all served in the veranda of our room. Dicky and I went for a walk along the beach with Margaux after eating while we allowed Bianca to sleep already back in the room. We ended the night with a massage. We requested for a room service.
We had a blast in Bora! The kids love the SAND and the WATER. Margaux doesn’t even want to go up from the water anymore. Bianca and Margaux enjoyed the pool rather than the beach. Good thing we stayed in White House where there was a swimming pool. They felt scared with the vast beach area. Margaux said she doesn’t like the “big, big pool.” This is common to kids especially to their age since they also feel the waves. So my suggestion to mommies out there, book a resort with swimming pool always so you can just leave the kids there with a yaya. That’s what we did while me and Dicky enjoyed the beach a lot! We are all super tan! Will post pictures soon.
Yes, we are off to Boracay Island early tomorrow morning, as in 5:50am so we will be in the island as early as 8am! I’m super excited as this will be the first time of the kids. As you know, I paid for this trip so I did a lot of budgeting and planning to make it really worthwhile. We will be staying in White House Beach Boracay! I’m hoping for a pleasant accommodation.
Have a great weekend to everyone!
How often do you use credit cards? I actually use cards in most of our household expenses. I figure out, it is better to carry less cash. Besides, we are earning a lot of points with our purchases. In fact, we can already fly to roundtrip to Singapore for 2 using our points in our HSBC card. But I sometimes have to control myself as well cause I really tend to splurge a lot. I don’t want to have bad credit credit cards so I only give myself an allowance on how much to spend. I know some people who have bad credit loans. Good thing there is badcreditoffers.com which can help those people find the best solution for their financial problems.
Joy tagged me with this. It’s so fun! I hope Dicky is not reading this! lol!

My good friend Karen wanted to try belly button rings. I do not think I have the guts to try it as well. I am sure I will see some girls in Boracay in their two piece suits who have actually tried having belly button piercing. I checked out piercing.com which offers a variety of products for any kind of piercing including belly button, ear piercing and to any other body parts. Yes, some even try it to the most private part! There is also what they call as the Captive Bead Ring which is one of the most popular kinds of body jewelry because it can be used in so many ways. Some people are actually buying the captive rings instead to use as lip piercing jewelry, eyebrow piercing jewelry or nose piercing jewelry. But Karen wants a belly button ring. According to the site, having a belly button ring is just plain sexy. Both men and women are actually trying it. It is a modern invention and has never been done before. In the US, it is becoming the most popular kind of piercing. In the site, they offer not only the service of piercing but even the studs to use. Honestly, the studs especially the ones for the ears are pretty. Some even come in different colors. You can even choose your birth stone in a sterling silver. My kids have that actually. In the site, the ear studs are available for as low as $4.99. That is actually a good steal. You will even be suprised that they sell tools and supplies for your do-it-yourself piercing. You can buy a set of the individual tools. But I don’t actually suggest it to Karen. I told her to just go to a qualified personnel who can do what she wants for her belly rings. Safety is important.
They are just so lovely to look at when playing…
I’m sure they will be best buddies even until they grow up. I’m blessed to have them both. I’m so blessed to have my family. If you are a mom, a parent, it is so amazing that even if you have two kids (or even more) already, you don’t actually divide your love to both of them. You will be capable to multiply everything. There will be no preferences. Your heart becomes bigger in showing and caring how much you love them.
In less than 3 weeks time, Dicky and I will be celebrating our 6th year wedding anniversary already. I haven’t decided on what to give him as a gift. I really wish I can give him a Patek watch! But I think it would remain as a wish still as I can’t barely afford it! Do you have any suggestion on what’s best to give? It doesn’t even have to be a watch as I gave him one already before.
I have been infront of Amanda already since nine o’clock in the morning. There are tons of work to do and I haven’t even finished half of it. My back aches already. I think I need a good back massage later. Otherwise, I might need a posture correction already since I feel like slouching. I need to complete all work before we leave for Boracay on Saturday. As you know, being away for just 3 days makes some of my clients in panic! Playing on such a demanding work!

This is the current favorite book of my kids. Margaux and Bianca love it a lot. Margaux can actually retell the whole story in her own words. It is a very comprehensive book teaching kids on counting, days of the week and how a caterpillar emerge to a beautiful butterfly. Margaux will even act out how the caterpillar had stomachache after eating a lot. I just love how she narrates the story while Bianca follows her. I make sure to immerse my kids with good books. It is a good way to start early literacy.
I need to get a partner for Amanda. My existing printer is too old for her. I want to get a 3-in-1 machine. That is a printer, scanner and copier in one. My options are: big “Brother”, Epi for Epson and Hewlett for HP. Any one using any of the three? Will appreciate your feedback and recommendations.
(I’m pressured to decide within the week as Dicky’s been bugging me to dispatch my Compaq already. He is selling it by the way.)
is AMANDA! (Please pronouce with a slang! lol) Thanks to Aggie for convincing me that is a good choice.
So chic and classy! Very much like the owner. Please do not argue! lol!
